will this coin go higher or come a dump?

I don't know. What do you think?

I am actually still invested in Darkcoin and I have made quite a bit out of it, but I am not delusional thinking that it will overtake Bitcoin.

What, you think Ebay or Amazon, or any other significant retailer will accept Darkcoin?? You think your local pizza shop/mom&pop store will accept Darkcoin???

They will accept Bitcoin and Litecoin, but I promise you they will not be touching Darkcoin with a 10ft pol
And I and others think you're exactly wrong about this.

As a business, accepting and using BTC means competitors, and everyone else who cares, know everything about what you've spent, what you've received, how much, who to, the lot. Darkcoin enables retailers and b2b to keep their business private. Plus it's much cheaper to use than a lot of payment solutions. That's a potentially huge market.

Do you think big businesses like paying a fortune to payment processing companies?

edit: and is there anyone on Earth who doesn't hate Paypal?

slyA, I'm so sad. I remember reading you on february. I hope you ok when we hit 0.2 very soon.

2 words= Master Nodes

People are holding because of the master nodes, very soon we will have some very nice and very easy darks every month. there is no dump because of the master nodes issue. We are all holding. Who want to lose the opportunity to get free darks every month?

It's no difficult to understand, even for me with my broken english.

Wait are you being serious? I have not said DRK will crash and burn. Where are you getting this from? I am holding DRK. I have been for months. I am saying people telling others to buy buy buy are misleading people. See maxcoin. Do you know why people in crypto no longer take keisser seriously?

Maxcoin went from 40 dollars to 0.12, screwing many people over and many potential enthusiasts. If someone is adept enough to come to DRK coin thread and ask advice, why would you want to lie and say "buy buy buy"? At least be reasonable and say be careful.

Based on the rise, I can say this is a pump. Masternodes will get some people to hold, but not all.
Hey guys, been here for a biscuit, read the thread, seldom post. SlyA isn't a troll. He is a supporter. He thinks it's a pump. That's fine. Got me thinking about it. I can see it from his perspective. I believe there was pump but was mitigated by actual buyers. Anyhow, SlyA was a great supporter early on as I would see him promoting dark on c-cex or other chat boxes. I think everyone is a little jumpy with the real trolls coming in here. All should take a deep breath and cut some slack. There have been great exchanges of people coming and asking questions getting great replys from the likes such as coins101 and his amazing dark post and calcs. In short, cut SlyA slack. He's cool. Please.

Quote
Hi,
I'm a new convert to DRK but I've been involved with Bitcoin since last June and I helped co-found the largest Bitcoin public miners co-op last year called DyslexicZombei's Miners Cooperative.
I recently bought or mined half of the coins needed for a node but I need a trustworthy partner (or 2) for the rest.
My qualifications:
Network Engineer at an R&D lab
I also work in InfoSec
I have a high trust rating at Bitcoin Talk handling somewhere between 1,000-2000 of the community's BTC over the last year in ASIC miner orders to various mfgs.
Can provide the hardware, power, bandwidth, administration, and security for said Node
Redditor for over 2 years
like DRK for it's more efficient x-11 mining algo and its potential to help the disenfranchised and repressed.
If you're serious (and only for the serious) I'll share my LinkedIn info for you.
Cheers, DZ

Hello,

can anybody explain me please why darkcoin has such a high price?

1. It has a low number of coins in circulation (only 4.3mn compared to 12mn of BTC and 28mn of LTC)
2. It aims for the anonymous market instead of the transparent market. If 10% of the transparent market goes anonymous, we are talking about 700mn market cap for anonymous coins.
3. It has some innovation going on in its favor
4. Very strong buying from investors (or "pumpers", depending on how one sees it)

When the master nodes payments start, will we be able to know how many MN there are, and thus how many DRK are cut out of the circulation?

Could help with price "projections"

Yes, you can know right now, just call the command in your client.

No.

We need people to update so we can get network consensus with the masternode list and count.  I think with the price surge, people are forgetting we have a hard fork on Sunday! Please update to the latest wallet! www.darkcoin.io http://darkcoin.io/getstarted.html

Its money you didn't know you had so I'd just leave it there and forget about it for another 6 months. I made a similar mistake with 900 btc back in the day.

In other news...Bitcoin going ballistic ($USD market that is). 5 month correction complete and it appears to be taking DRK with it. No immediate impact on the BTC / DRK market.

New money now coming into crypto all round.

It's main engine ignition. Also, the market seems to know exactly where it's going for the new revaluation and isn't going to p*ss about getting there by the looks of things.
