Wallet is locked, do 'walletpassphrase <passphrase> 60' to unlock it for 60 secs first. Thanks. Also remember to clear the debug window using the red dash in the lower right.

A notion just struck me...
When denominating a large chunk that gets submitted, doesn't get enough entries, gets submitted, doesn't get enough entries... This happens hundreds of times before 3 finally show up... Does the failed entry process give anything away? It happens so much you're pretty much guaranteed to have submitted it to every masternode in the network several times before it actually happens, so couldn't just a single rogue node monitor/track large chunks through this process of repeated submissions?
The presubmission phase is where the client just says "hey, I'd like to mix these denominations here", then the masternode broadcasts a message saying it's accepting more clients. If it gets 3 of those "hey, I'd like to mix" messages, it'll tell those users to submit their actual transactions, inputs+outputs. So the system doesn't reveal any information until the actual mixing is about to happen. Look at the "dsa" and "dsq" message events in main.cpp for more info. in theory the anonymization with MN's is great, but i practice it is a pain as it seems to be so hard to find people to annon with !! can not be there a secure way that a certain amount of DRK are on the MN network (say 5000 DRK) just flying around the network (not belonging to anybody) waiting to anonymize with somebody ? that would make the process definately faster and available all the time !?

Most antivirus flag wallets and miners. If you download from the official website you are ok.

Yeah, that or one of the two suggestions I made on DCT about using some of the masternode coins or having a dedicated client that continuously loops 8 rounds with sending the fully anon balance to another newly generated wallet address in the wallet and starts the process over.

This is very easy to script, trouble is most people with a few thousand DRK have them in MNs. Plus constant anonymisation incurs charges. The 1000DRK MN vin can't be used easily as if it gets anonymised, the MN would have no way of verifying it's existence or location any more. You could create another service category - mixing seeders, that earned something from the block reward to constantly provide mixing partners for other Darksend users... it would have to pay enough to make up for the anonymisation costs, but that wouldn't have to be a lot, plus a bit of profit on top for the operators...? edit: you'd actually only need two of these running, not hundreds...

For using the masternode coins, it would need to be redone for something like a 500-800 vin and then another that would be able to be used for mixing. Then to check, the total balance of the wallet would need to total 1000 or more. Something conditional that masternodes providing extra denomination liquidity wouldn't be charged for rounds. Obviously if you dip below the 1000 coin threshold, the masternode is inactive. The wallet already knows what the change addresses are for funds coming back so it should be able to do a check to make sure it totals >1000. As for the custom wallet looping, it would be for those wanting to help the network and have under 1000 coins. They can provide pairs for the network. There is an extreme need for pairs for darksend. Nothing worse than telling a newcomer to try to anon their coins and they sit there for hours or days or longer and never finish. That's not a selling point.

I think the answer is simply moar adoption.... It still leaves the big chunks hanging here and there... 72 hours and I'm 2% denomed! Fat stacks will just have to accept the delays no matter what, moar adoption will move the decimal point. How many people have 44,000 BTC in one wallet and then click a "start denomination" button... We've already seen the MN payment system exploited. What if there were floating coins? Yeah. Keep that shit locked up. IF you start floating the MNs' coins, you'll have no more MNs as people dump their nodes like mad... The objective is to increase masternodes, not get rid of every last one of them and kill the coin. Glad we had the talk, but that's an absolutely fuckin' horrible idea.

Strange action. Market seems to be meandering without mintpal leading the action. Surprised that walls on cryptsy are dumped into without huge walls above providing any sense of impending doom. Maybe not, moolah debacle hasn't worked its way through the system. Alt trading continues to stagnate. Recent pot coin flourishing example of this. I'm tired. Can we get some clarification by mr lawsky going forward. Doesn't matter in the long run.
Adoption.
Which is why I hedge in coins that might infuriate the libertarian or anarchist ideals.
Xrp. Rabobank, citibank, City national bank (sharing a stage on the 23 rd with mr larsen), barclays, rumors of rumors, every noteworthy conference has had xrp rep. Susan Athey of Stanford, connections, bank's crypto play. While bitcoin trades close to 40% of its record high, xrp is sitting at 5%. It is currently 60% cheaper than this time last year, while bitcoin is trading close to 400% higher.
My heart is with dark. But my brain can't deny evidence on the side.
Sifting through the detritus is not hard, it becomes clear to those who are awake. I am not a trader, and I regret this to some extent, but the way forward to the risk auspicious is clear. May dark flourish, may your dreams be seen.

For the people in this thread that were interested, I've made some progress. New stats (270X, 280X, 7950, and 290X): Idle: 105W Stock SGMiner 5 power draw: 780W Modded SGMiner 5 power draw: 910W Difference in power draw: +16.66% Stock hash: 16.80MH/s Modded hash: 23.75MH/s Difference in hashrate: +41.37%
Also, the highest hashrates I could achieve, on what cards and with what clocks (nsfw): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/x11localrigwolf-10192014-3.pngFor someone that doesn't share the code or supposedly even sell it to people that would pay... yeah the e-peen is large on this one

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980
