Hey is there a way to get potcoins that were on my old hard drive that has been reformated? If not I have just lost about 5k of potcoin that I was holding :\
If you did not save the wallet.dat then immediately stop using the hard drive. *Download* a data recovery software and recover the %roaming% folder and get your wallet back By doing this would i have to re install my os once again or would I be able to keep the current one? No you keep the current os, but like said above if its your current hard drive everything you do on the computer makes it less likely you can recover the files. I don't know if you know how to *download* programs but if you want it give it a *crack* then the *key* would be to do it soon, I would recommend stellar phoenix data recovery and have used it many times for data recovery (computer repair guy here) and has never failed me yet. Do you have any recommendations for a program that doesnt require me to pay for it for this job? thanks I assume you didn't get my hints about download, crack, and keygen Or maybe you don't know how to get such programs. I have not used these but lifehacker is usually on top of there stuff http://lifehacker.com/5237503/five-best-free-data-recovery-toolsSo after all that the wallet.dat could not be recovered :/ it kept just recovering the current user/appdata I am currently using and never the old one. Well so much for riding the potcoin train lol. Get in man its a penny right now not for long !! I hope everyone reading this is backing up their wallets. Creating paper wallets and storing them somewhere safe is another security measure.

They told us that the video could take 4-6 weeks, it's been awhile now so it will come sometime soon

Anybody offer some advice getting my wallet to sync? Have tired the normal stuff I know, added addnodes list to a new config file.....still just sits there saying "no block source available". Definitely have it enabled in Firewall, also tried reinstalling and deleting everything in the roaming directory. Have a dozen or so other wallets working fine on same pc.

If you used the nodelist from page 1, did you correct the errors?

WARNING
I must say that cryptorush is NOT great at all! their customer service is horrible they just dont care about customers at all.I had BTC stuck there and 15k POT LOST from my acc. and they didnt reply a single time in 3-4 days. no reply to the ticket no reply to any of the mails.
when finally I got someone on IRC things turned nasty. First they were giving false info about transactions having no confirmations when in fact they had (visible also in their history) than started getting rude to the point where one of the founders stated:
" SO WHAT IF WE DONT REPLY TO TICKETS.I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.PERIOD"
getting that when my BTC is in their hands for days and my POT lost gives you the idea of how great they really are!
I got my BTC after all the mess, but my 15k POT has vanished and they dont care. so be aware as this is not the only case

Just 2 suggestions to fix in the OP: It would be nice if the OP contained a direct link to the source: https://github.com/potcoin/potcoin - saves few clicks looking up the URL Also for the node list, first two are correct, the rest are "addno te=..." instead of "addno de=..." - please fix these typos, as if somebody just copy & paste this into config, it won't work as expected .
