You may have misread.  This is not speaking about the whole bitcoin industry, rather just BitPay.

In the article its just bitpay, but do you really think it will be any different for coinbase or circle? I don't. Otherwise we would see them already facilitating transactions for the industry.

I just downloaded and installed Potcoin wallet-qt  for windows and is says 9 weeks behind, no block source available... is this a problem?
