Hello,

I am looking for a website like coinmarketcap, where you can see the price per eth instead of per BTC or USD (in the charts).
Does such a website exist? If so, can someone please link me?
What are looking exactly? The site display the price of Ethereum for USD and BTC. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets
As you can see in the above link, the price per btc is 0.04236980 BTC and the price in dollar is $701.72 .

I trade Bitcoin and I trade Litecoin and I hold Ethereum (mostly)...
I trade those because they pump like crazy and I want to ride those...
But with Ethereum I dont WANT a "pump" I want it to grow like 10% a month for like the next 4 years.
Ethereum has the foundation and fundamentals. In an ideal world it grows while the others pump....

2018 is new year of Ethereum. it become more usefully, price around 2500 usd Grin Grin Grin

Dont worry, you are still early. Ethereum has had a nice run this year, an insane run to be precise, but this is only the beginning. Next year will be awesome for Ethereum!

I expect ETH to reach four figures anytime soon, maybe before the end of the year.

Ethereum is always a safe  bank. In the past i uses some Ether for ICOs, but now i will never touch them for that kind of things. Holdl and let them grow.

I can feel your pain mate, I also invested most of the Ethereum that I had in ICO's. I bought pretty cheap so I thought it was a good way to realize my profits when they went up to $300, but in the end I made a loss with those investments.
ICO investments are likely to drop as soon as they ICO tokens hit the exchange and then you become a bag holder and wish you had held on to your Ethereum.
The Ether that I still got, will stay in my wallet for a very long time, I wont spend that on some silly ICO, thats for sure!

You're picking em wrong then, mate! I also invested a good deal in a few ICOs, and most of those have realized profit already (at least, enough to cover losses from other tokens) Still though, unless the ones you invested in turned out be scams, just hold those tokens until they get a product out. You never know when something might cause token price pump. https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico

Check out SpankChain, shits on fire right now. I went in heavy on that project, and am so freaking happy I did!

Hi,

I have a few questions that I hope you will answer.

1. What is the difference between Ethereum-Wallet-installer-0-9-3.exe and Mist-installer-0-9-3.exe wallets?
2. Who do you recommend installing?
3. How can I make sure that the 260GB database /blockchain/ is not uploaded to the main disk C, but to another disk?
4. Can not the database /blockchain/ be uploaded to any disk at all, but use remote nodes like Monero?

Thanks!

Hi DStefanov!

Your interesting question got lost into all the ATH celebrations  Wink

1. EthereumWallet is just a Wallet when Mist is a dApp explorer including a wallet among with the possibility to browse most of the dApp out there.

2. It depends on what you're planning to do. If you just need a wallet, EthereumWallet is good enough but I can only advise you to try browsing some dApps (verifying that they are legit first) to get an idea of the power the ETH network has (and will have). Mist can be quite buggy sometimes so you can also use Metamask which is a Chrome plugin allowing you to browse some dApps right with Chrome. Or you can use Brave which is an open-source web browser with native integration of Metamask.

3. During the installation, you will have to chose where to store the chaindata folder. Consider using an SSD rather than an HDD and please note that the chaindata folder will rather be around 35 GB with a fresh sync. Remember to erase the chaindata folder (SAVE THE KEYSTORE FOLDER BEFORE DOING THAT!!) from time to time in order to resync in --fast mode (and save some space).

4. You can use an online wallet provider, but then you will have to rely on a third party node (like with the remote nodes in Monero). You can try Parity or MyEtherWallet for example (but beware of the phishing sites when Googling it).

Hi Fargusson!

Thanks for your time and the clear and comprehensive answer.
I think now I understood what I wanted to learn, thanks to you.
Greetings!  Wink

Wow, until now I have just known the Ethereum developers. They are awesome people with deep experience. ETH price has significantly increased in recent days. Maybe 2018 is the year of ETH, it can be reached on 1000$ per eth. I hope so.

ETH gets more solid every week! Make sure you max your holdings before January 3!

I think this is big news for Ethereum holders:

"Having scaled US$400 on Nov. 23, ETH spent a better part of the last three-weeks trading sideways in the US$400–$480 range.

The congestion ended with an upside break on Monday amid news that Swiss banking giant UBS, along with other banking industry heavyweights, are planning to use the ethereum network as a means of complying with new regulations scheduled to go live in the EU on Jan. 3.

Ethreum's smart contract capabilities and the decentralized nature could bring down the costs associated with data reconciliation and storage, the firms told CoinDesk".

full article here: https://www.coindesk.com/750-the-ether-price-freight-train-has-a-new-target/

Haha - this article had ETH at $686 and is one day old and almost out of date already with

ETH on Coinmarketcap right now already on$730.04 USD

Centrifugal the price (all usd divide to all coins) of ETH has increased from 800 to 2300, and bitcoin declined from 40,000 to 20,000, there is a preparation for attack in the first place

BCH no competitor, centrifugal available below than now price

and here the reversal of the air from the bottom can be seen: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage

ETH better than bitcoin, key in both senses cause: https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/24219-myetherwallet-%D0%BA%D0%BE%D1%88%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA-%D0%B4%D0%BB%D1%8F-ethereum/&do=findComment&comment=1045896

I do not propose to store the key on the computer, I keep it on a flash drive, insert it when there is no network
and removed before turning on the network
maybe you just didn't use the option of offline translations on the website and know it is possible, therefore, argue
what is the difference that is eternally without a network, your computer or my flash drive, if your money is always just on the computer, and my only flash drive

In Electrum, too, so you can in other currencies, there is also a option of signing offline, there is generally money only in your head (a password if prescribed), which in the Internet can not be in any way
although privat key still on the computer.. Therefore ETH a better than bitcoin. ETC is more better, he has restricted the issue

very satisfying to wake up and see Ethereum up again.
wouldn't mind a day of healthy consolidation but not gonna lie..
it would be amazing if the pattern of explosive action continued..
other side super Bitcoin is coming .. Or already came.
anyway Hope so Ethereum will be cross $800 today..

People are looking ways to invest more in projects which has potential to grow like leaps and bounds in coming future and Ethereum provides them perfect opportunity to put money in legit project. How some people just made huge money by picking up again few days ago at thta temporary dip.

Indeed, of all the altcoins in the market, it's Ethereum who is the best IMO, that is because until now it's still undervalued and I am happy to see something we have some good pump lately, but I am hoping to see more because if the increase continues, we should already be seeing $1,000 now.

Everything became good with the price of the etherium, but the network problems did not go anywhere. And the price increase only worsened network performance and commission price.
