Well, i have already seen on cryptopool some days ashing power of 250, and also 320mh(about 250000 solar coin per day, specially first days) So,someone already collect million of solarcoin. Maybe it's already factory that have to try asic before shipping(cause many otheer coin pool sometimes for 24 hours get out of normal hashrate). So, if nick change the algorytm asap is fine,if he say to not worry.....probably we will see our solarcoin reach 1 satoshi at the end of the year. And bye bye. Remeber that WE rule the market, not someone's in another galaxy. So,let's all togheter ask nick to change within days the algorytm. +1. We all need to ask to change algorithm

By the time the big ASICS hit the streets (August?) this coin will have at least 50% of the coins mined. It's already over 12 million, and there's only 100 million. Luckily, I don't think those 250 Mh/s ASICS will have much of an affect on this coin.

The main plus we have going is we are still under the radar

X11 results in less heat being produced during mining. Summer is on the way and cooling is a problem when it gets really hot. We might be in for a real scorcher this year like the year the tar started melting on the roads because it was so hot.
So, how about putting this to a vote, algorithm change?
X11 - Originally from Darkcoin and created by Evan Duffield. X11 uses the following for complex hashing, blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd and echo. There is GPU mining software available for X11 which makes it a suitable hashing solution. CPU only coins quickly become run by botnets and virtual machines with large numbers of vCPUs. GPU mining protects against this sort of unfair mining. Because of the complexity in X11 it is unlikely that we would see an ASIC for it any time soon, keeping coins that choose X11 to be mined on common and affordable hardware, therefore decentralising the hash power as originally intended by Satoshi.

+1 to Algo change to X11
Also can we get a WORKING block explorer?
It will boost confidence if we can check that the DEV team has not unloaded the premine onto the exchanges.

http://solarcoin.zapto.org/Link is dead and has been thats why I asked for a working block explorer. Also big time price manipulation going on on AllCrypt. Price is being pushed down by someone posting up hundreds of sell orders with a quantity of "1.337". Best part is people are actually falling for it and selling at much lower prices.

How much trade volume would it take to get SLR out of the low volume doldrums on Coinmarketcap?

The daily US$ volume must be greater than 0.001% of Market Cap (Price X Coins mined) The coins mined includes the pre-mine. Price x 24 hr volume > 0.00001 x Price x Coins mined Coins mined will barely move due to the pre-mine, so the variable that affect it most are price and volume. Huge volume that does nothing but push the price down won't do it. Huge volume that keeps the price stable would do it. Increasing volume with increasing price will definitely do it. I prefer we get there with the last option. A slow push, if you will. (Pun intended )

Sweet! Any coin that can be bought/sold directly with USD rather than BTC should be automatically worth more money.

Everyone seems to get spooked by this seller who likes the number 1337.
