Dont think she will ever be coming back, but we could set up an auto dial program to call that phone number non stop 24/7 to keep them so busy with answering the phone they dont have time to scam anyone. We could also flood their e-mail inbox with so much spam they cannot find a single customer inquiry to reply to trying to convince them to blow their money.
We are a very resourceful forum, and i personally think its time we start fighting back. Anyone have any ideas on how we can monkey wrench this operation to the point they just give up? Legal or otherwise, i am all for it. what they are doing is not legal so why should i be.

yes... another reason to bring back the newb threads.
I have a cup of tea in front of me which has been pre-mined using 14nm technology.
bids start at 1unicorn.

Hi - We plan to visit soon Rebecca. One of our writers will be in touch.
No offence intended here yet. I don't think the forum members would care much if a new member did a visit and write up on a new company.

The first poster after the "press release" is part of the scam too, I'm guessing.
He's a noob who just HAPPENS to live right down the street from the supposed fab facility.
We can look forward to his next post, when he'll report that he visited their super secret factory and saw all the chip geniuses building prototypes or something.
These guys thought they were going to make like $5 million on this scam. Let's see if we can keep that close to zero.
Who you calling a noob you 4 post having idiot. Learn your place before you start accusing people of sh!t. I have been a member of this forum for almost a year. Just by coincidence I do happen to live just down the road from their "facility" and yes I was the first to reply. Wow. Sometimes I wonder why I even visit these forums its like visiting the land of the trolls. Rebecca, don't worry you are not the first definitely not the last company to come under the rigorous scrutiny of this great forum. Don't take it personally, as you are probably aware there have been MANY scams run through these forums, which has got a lot of peoples backs up. As you have read some aspects of your business have thrown up some red flags but hopefully, if you are who you say you are we can get these all ironed out. I am really hoping you guys are legit as I am eager to do business

2 members of your team is working full time on a wordpress website? They don't seem to be very productive. What are they doing with the rest of the time, scratching their balls in front of you? You do know this forum is full of computer geeks which have their own set of skills? You do know a Fab with wafersteppers to build a 20 nm ASIC is very expensive, that's while so many design company are fabless. BTW which brand wafersteppers is your team using?
Canon Nikon Ultratech or maybe ASML. You better pick the right one. As an investor in one of those companies, I do know how those shit works and I know who can't deliver stuff below 65 nm.

Rebecca
I am 200 miles away in Leeds. I will drive down to see you with a camera tomorrow or Monday and take photos for the forum if you are legit.
Sounds fishy though.
Questions:
Steve Hodgeson -- you say he has experience at renowned semiconductor manufacturers -- where? how long? what role?
Who is you parent company?
Point me to any linkedin / personal profiles of your core team
Where is your 20nm foundry and who is building them?
Please ask Michael to create a profile on this forum, I and I'm sure many others would like to ask him some technical questions about your chips
You have prototypes. Why no photos?

OK, calm down children.
As a respected member of the press, here's what I expect to see.. as this announcement (if true) is actually groundbreaking for the UK...
1) A Press Association press release (as opposed to a PR paper provided by an online company who will send out an online form which has been filled in by a online marketing kid) with a press-day-invite, a photocall of senior member with the first unit produced, and a factory tour for my journalist colleagues.
2) A sample unit (kept in-house) running and showing a stable hashrate.
I do nothing with any press release or new story, unless I see it from her majesties Press Association. A PA release will ensure that EVERY UK national newspaper has the opportunity to take note of this new venture. I wish you luck, but in the immortal words of the dragons, I'm Out.

This is not the response we wanted to receive as you can imagine from the community!
...
I hope this helps clarify some peoples responses to my announcement.
Your post has caused quite a stir. If you are a genuine UK company then you will know about the EU Distance Selling Regulations that force both refunds and a cooling off period. You need to change you T&C's to meet the laws of the UK. Companies House has no record of your company and your web site shows you are not a limited, is this correct? Your company expects to sell more than the VAT threshold equivalent in the next three months but your prices do not display if VAT has been paid, are you registered for VAT, if so what is your VAT number, if not can you please explain why not? Your address is the same as one of CMS Ltd addresses, is CMS your parent company, or is your company an offshoot built by staff from them?

SCAM ALERTThe team consist of 4 persons, where two persons is involved in the RnD. Project manager + microchip engineer. Obviously one engineer is not enough experience to design a 5TH/s device. http://www.ctsminer.com/about-us/Press release states: "CTS are an elite group formed internally from a world-class microprocessor engineering company at the forefront of Embedded controller design and manufacture" Which is hardly the competences needed for chip design. None of the staff appears on linkedin or any other relevant places on the internet. Concept drawings are not convincing, even though heat pipes are present at the CAD drawings, they go to "some kind" of central processor while the actual ASIC grid not cooled with heat sinks. The spec say 900-1100W, for that power some cooling must be expected. http://www.ctsminer.com/initial-cad-designs-released/
