This may be a "dumb" question since I have not been watching the board lately ( I did scan the last couple of pages though and found nothing related)

Is there some reason the payout queue has hit 20+ blocks behind now?? I have been mining on Eligius since march and have never seen more than 4 or 5 blocks since I keep my payouts thresholds set for about 3 or 4 day intervals.

I am not saying anything untoward is going on I trust WK fully but I would just like to know why I had a 20 block delay on one miner and 16 or 17 on the other. ( down to 16 and 11 currently).

It's honestly because I've not had sufficient time to set aside to go through and get a manual payout together, which takes a good amount of time to go through and do all of the checks I do before sending one.

I'll try to make some time for it soon.

I've been googling this as well as trying to read some through this thread, but I can't find anything definitive.

I was previously at Bitminter, successfully mining Bitcoin and merged Namecoin -- the only Namecoins in my Namecoin wallet are from that.

But I had an issue with Bitminter (technical nature, and not important really) so I decided to try Eligius.  So far I've been happy -- except for one thing: I haven't received any Namecoins in my Namecoin wallet yet despite two Bitcoin payouts to date.  (And yes, I do have my Namecoin address on the My Eligius/Configurable Options page.)

Anyone have any idea why?

from back in 2013, which says "As of March 23, 2013, as per this post on Bitcointalk, Eligius will no longer offer namecoin merged mining to miners. Due to lack of maintenance/updates to the client code, as well as several potential exploits of the chain existing."

But then I also found this ...

from 2014 (at least in the footer) which contradicts that, saying "Yes, you must first configure your Namecoin address in My Eligius to be eligible to receive namecoins."  And which I've done.

Note that both contradictory statements are on eligius.st.

So which is it?  Does Eligius support merged Namecoin mining?  If so, why haven't I received any Namecoins along with my two Bitcoin payouts?  Are Namecoin payouts on some other schedule?

Interesting.  Is this a merged Namecoin mining issue in general or a Namecoin/Eligius issue?  I received my last NMC payout from Bitminter on August 9th, then shortly thereafter I switched to Eligius.  When did the Eligius folks stop getting Namecoin payouts?

I've been waiting for the namecoin folks to release a patch that lets namecoind run for more than 30 minutes before crashing.

For fun I took a look which pool confirmed the about 7000 blocks which contain about 14000 Mastercoin transactions and it turns out Eligius confirmed only 6 blocks of them which is far less than the expected value given the portion of total network contribution.

So I was wondering.. are you actively blocking Mastercoin transactions?

Yes, the spam filters are capable of picking up most Mastercoin spam.
Please don't play games to force us to upgrade it.

Hopefully more pools will gradually improve their spam filters too.

Here's a fundamentals question.  My Eligius stats consistently report around 94.2% shares rewarded.  A friend of mine with similar hashing power sees 97 to 98%.  Whazzup with that?

You and your friend did not start mining at the exact same time and have not mined at the exact same times since then... therefore your individual "lucks" differ.
