Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB

Todays payment does not show on account and on blockchain, yet btc was subtracted from pending. Anybody has the same situation?
The wallet to which this payment was supposed to be delivered has a nasty red note that there are doublespends on it. Is this usual?
I haven't touch this account for more than three weeks as far as moving any btc in or out, so whatever it is, it is probably originated on eligius payment side.

I have a question regarding CPPSRB. I was mining a couple of days ago for less then one day with 300-400 TH and pool was having bad luck, instead of expected approx. 3 BTC I received only approx. 1 BTC of payments. As far as I understand my shares are now in database and are waiting for better pool luck, is that right? Are there any real chances that I'll actually get paid for these shares, or can I just forget about it?

If the pool gets lucky, it will pay the most recent unlucky miners. So there are real chances that you'll get paid.

This pool is seeing the worst luck since a month. Eligius was very reasonable in finding blocks in past, dont know whats the reason behind it. Earnings since yesterday morning became negative and no one knows when pool will get lucky and pay the shelved shares for my miners work. dissapointed

Nothing to do with the pool being reasonable or not.. It has to do with its size. At the current size of the pool, it has 5% each day to find 0 block.

If you want less variance, you can go on a bigger pool or use more than one.

But with the 0% fee and the reputation of the pool, I prefer to have some variance on Eligius than going on GHash for example.

Wouldn't use ghash as an example of a bigger pool these days.  They've shrunk significantly (smaller than Guild and Slush).  These days the only "big" pools are Chinese.  Everybody else is 5% or less of the network.

Unfortunately all of the original pools have gotten pushed smaller, percentage wise, by the large Chinese ASIC manufacturers.

Eligius is still just as functional as it has always been, there is just a bit more variance than when we were a larger percentage of the network.

Yeah I'm thinking of pulling my hashes from the Pool. I haven't gotten paid in 3 days and still shows as being 110BTC behind the queue. 

I'm not a fan of their payout system. Ugh.

Payout queue gets backed up sometimes.  I'll take care of it with a manual payout soon.  Can usually ping me on IRC if you are in dire need of a payout.

But seriously don't bother me over a few dollars worth of BTC.  It irritates me when I get messages/tickets/etc about payouts and it turns out the person is stressing over like 0.02 BTC.  Waste of time. heh.  

If you can't live for a couple days waiting on $5 worth of BTC, you probably shouldn't be mining.  (Not directed at anyone in particular, just saying.)

Well, it's quite more than that, but I'm not in a dire hurry.
Just the backing up of the payments over days extending into possibly a week or more (if luck is not with the pool)  makes for that time and no realized earnings, only paper earnings.

Usually I've gotten paid within a day after earnings, but this time for some odd reason things are waaay backed up.

My app shows it for Eligius.  The other pools it's not so easy to determine as the pool ops don't make the raw data available.

Keep up the great work wizkid057 Am a big fan of eligius pool, but since few weeks i feel eligius is seeing bad luck and drop in overall hash  resulting in slower blocks hope the pool crosses 10PH again an dhit fast blocks like past.
With the shelved shares concept, hashrate should always go up but not down as shelved shares may never get paid if pool does not get good luck.

Yeah.  I'm down a little over 3btc in shelved earnings.  

I can only imagine what the big guys are missing.

EDIT: That said, I'm pretty sure the hashrate has no impact on luck.  It just makes the bad spells less painful.

I think it's worth noting that with other pools you would have zero chance of getting paid for shares discarded during bad luck times. At least here those shares are never forgotten.

However, unlike PPLNS, you also have no chance of ever being paid more than PPS.
