And I think that we're playing bad defenders. Matip's back but not at his best. Fabi's all right but he's wasted in CB (as was Hendo). The nett result is our midfielders are scurrying back to cover more (because also forget Trent especially, he's really bad at defending), and spending less time trying to get creative supply to our front 3.

Not even VAR intervention for the Burnley handball, that's what I meant by consistency too. No excuses. We played badly.

Dude, VAR has been screwing us all season. With all the injuries too we’re just not going to win the title. We have to ensure we finish in the top 4 though, get this season over with & then go again tomorrow.

Yesterday's result is really disappointing already out of Champions League now suffering in EPL not good signs but still very long way to go hopefully in coming days some better result give some good hope but these injuries hurting very badly in this all cause now Salah is also not good enough as he was in last season.

I’m pretty sure VAR did all the other clubs too.  They should just use it for deciding red cards and fouls inside the box.  The millimeter offside calls are ridiculous.

Anyway got 2 - 0 for Aston Villa to win the round.  GL to the other two...  And made a small bet on Aston Villa and the under 4.5 combo at 1.82.  At least this match should be interesting...

You need it to be exactly 2-0 for Aston Villa to win this round. If Aston Villa ended up winning with any other score except from 2-0 then Cygan will be the winner for this round

Big G needs to get exact score for extra of 3 points to win this round, if he gets only 1.5 points then his points will tied with Cygan ( most likely Cygan going to win in case of tie )

Either way, it seems we are still going to expect a new winner again this round . The curse continues

Yep brother. It's really got to a point where:
- I'm not celebrating if we score. Not for a while until play resumes. Fully expect VAR to get it chalked off.
- I'm not even expecting a VAR call if we get a handball or foul in the box (think of the last 3 games, no reviews for fouls or handball in the box).

Statistically, we're not the worst off this season, but we're second worst off. In terms of nett VAR + - .

Inclined to think you're right, but there's a stubbornness in me that says we still get to meet United and City again to make up for lost ground.

Problem with VAR is that I always feel like decisions go opposite from what I want. I am not talking about clear mistakes made right by VAR, I am talking about those 50-50 situations like non intention handball but far away from body. I feel like in 9/10 cases the ref makes judgment just to screw my ticket or my favorite club

I am sure there is more people feeling like this and that is why we should have clear rules and be dependent on ref judgment for handballs.

For some reason my Aston villa and New castle was unlocked and could of sworn I locked them all up earlier in the week and double checked them.
Anyways, it was good because I had New Castle to win 4-1 but had a feeling they were going to screw the pooch and lose the match, which in the end they did so changed it to 3-0 Aston Villa at the last minute.
Best decision I made all day long for my bets.

I think it's updated but as I said above Cygan is showing the yellow cap even though it was toke who got it. No games today but there's a handful of FA Cup games including Man U v Liverpool.

Anyone else not liking the look of these line ups this round? Most of them are very hard to split for me and many look like potential draws. Newcastle/Leeds, Palace/West Ham, Southampton/Arsenal, Burnley/Villa, Brighton/Fulham, Everton/Leicester, Spurs/Liverpool. There's lot of games where the slightly stronger team is playing away and I'd probably back them if they were at home but not away. I really can't pick a winner out of any of those games. Everton might be in with a chance as I don't think Vardy is playing. Liverpool looked decent against Man U even though they lost, but Spurs aren't doing to bad recently and Liverpool are still likely shaky. Leeds and Newcastle are both playing shit. Might have backed a narrow Leeds win if they were playing at home but not away. West Ham are on a three win run but don't trust them to beat Palace away. Draws are looking the best best but we'll likely only get a couple. Nightmare round for me.

You know that old saying guys: "It is much tougher to stay on top than to get on top", same goes for defending of the title.

We have a really strange season on our hands, I don't remember when it was so crowded at the top of Premier League. Few good results in a row and all top teams find themselves gunning for the title. Now when Chelsea changed the coach and if it turns out to be positive shock they could also start rapid rise towards the top and make the race even more interesting. They have the team for that sure if they just manage to click together.
