Anyone else having issues with Mintpal? The server down?
You guys should really consider diversifying a bit from the Mintpal exchange anyway. Try using Poloniex... https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_mint

Fee is only .005% higher, but you get a lot more additional features such as the ability to do Stop-Limit orders, and charts that track moving averages, Bollinger bands, Fib Levels, etc. Probably worth it, imo.

Stop Mining.   Start Minting.   Mintcoin  [MINT]
5% annual minting reward. Mintcoins don't wear out like mining gear. They keep on minting!

Overall I'm quite happy with Mintpal.
While I have an account at Poloniex, I prefer Mintpal.
The only reason I would consider switching to Poloniex is if Mintcoin was delisted from Mintpal due to low trading volume.

Why do you prefer Mintpal? I was just letting people know of decent alternative, because it seems like in the last couple pages people were showing disdain for Mintpal. There is also Cryptsy too.
BTW, sorry... the trading fee over at Poloniex is .2% which is .05% higher than Mintpal, rather than .005%.

Just seems simple to use.
Used Poloniex a couple times early on, trading offers (bids/offers) seem sort of thin compared to Mintpal.

The wallet has to be open in order to mint new coins. It would be best to leave it open for a few hours, at the very least, and probably a day or two would be best - especially if you haven't had it open for any length of time since February.

Also - the less coins you have, the longer it will take to successfully mint new coins.

One more thing - your wallet needs to be unlocked as well.

Thanks, it's in my sig.

I'm working on a few projects for mint including an instructional howto guide, also thinking about opening an email address/mailing list where people can send their mintcoin address and receive some free mints to get started.

Hi everyone!

MintCoin wallet V1.10 available for Windows!
(1) adds FastStart=>Needs to redownload the blockchain entirely!
Open %appdata%MintCoin, backup your wallet.dat and delete blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat.

(2) fix the "For minting only" option

Mega won't load for me today so I uploaded it to Mediafire
