Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

Yes there are many scam bounty project and its hard to recognize which project are good or not. As being one of the bounty hunters before I`m joining one bounty campaign first I reviewing those project, I trying to look in their  ICOs comments and rating and also their white paper. For me, we don`t need to read the whole white paper but the point where we can read the discussion about the use of their project.

That`s my way on how to choose bounty program.

It's hard to tell which one is scam bounty, which is not, even experienced bounty hunters are sometimes cheated. My method is actually very simple, just follow a bounty manager and only participate in the bounty campaigns he posted.

but what if the campaign manager that you followed is also a scammer ? you know most managers and reputable members on this forum can also do unexpected things and that is to scam thier participants by taking away the budget that is usuallly allocated for the campaign  .

if you dont want to get scammed then dont ever try to join a bounty , instead join only activities that arent risky like for example working on a free lancing work online or apply for a regular job on a real company .

In connection with the fall of Ethereum ,many companies postpone the payment of tokens ,and perhaps they are not scammers ,but simply wait for the increase in the price of Ethereum .

things like this are normal because they want investors not to suffer losses because this will affect the future of the project and not only that even if they pay but the tokens do not go to the exchange

Avoiding Scams has now become the first lesson for bounty participants.

For how to avoid Scams, here is a good post to learn.

In addition, you can check in this list whether the project you are participating in has been included in the scam project.

Finally, remind everyone that before participating in a Campaign, please learn more about any details of the project and be cautious.

the project that was created and planned to attract investors with the appearance of the website and whitepepper is as attractive as possible, but after getting a lot of invoices the funds entered are misused for personal gain.

I used to have so much hope in ongoing Projects. I have joined many Bounty Programs in the last 9 months, mostly lasted for more than 4 months, but only few projects sent me the payment Tokens. Those that didn't send the payment in form of Tokens, so much time and effort were exerted for nothing. I am still hoping some of the recently concluded Bounty Programs will pay me as promised.

Join the companies that have collected the soft cap, you will get a few tokens since you joined late, but there is at least a small guarantee that the company will pay. Wink

Choosing a bounty manager is a good solution, their credibility with the ICO project will be very familiar. So if in the middle of the bounty road is caught a scam, then the bounty manager will notify or even give a reward with his own money. And also, being active in scam accusations is a good act, by doing that you can see some people making threads with the intention of telling someone that there is an ICO that is a scam, from here you can do your own research.

We have to be very careful with the bounties, because even though managers are doing good research but they are not managing to reach their hard cap. So we have to be very careful when choosing a bounty which we cannot able to understand in the beginning of their bounty campaign.

Our bounty hunters often encounter fraudulent bounty activities, which is inevitable, because those fraudsters will not be subject to any sanctions, they can make fake projects to fool money!

Yes, it is true, bro, because now seeing that the amount of funds is not enough and the number of ICO sales is not achieved, most of the prizes are cheating.

You should participate in the bonuses campaign of good projects gaining hard hats or soft hats to get definitely worth the reward.

This is hard to tell, just as we can't tell who is a good person and who is a bad person. What we can do is to increase our knowledge of cryptocurrency as much as possible so that we can avoid being cheated.

What do you mean by scam? I see so many hunters complains about bounty scam for the reason the company can't distribute tokens which is they dont reach the softcap it's obviously not a scam.

Because making tokens through ERC-20 is simple, and when they successfully commit fraud, they are not subject to any legal or government penalties, so there are now a large number of fraudsters on the market!

There are scam ICO who is rsaing money for no real product. Such ICO needs to be reviewed carefully, always check the team behind the project and thier social media status. Also ensure that project has some realistic meaning and see the whitepaper.
