the specs on the hashfast website do not match the specs that ken has posted.

You don't find it odd that the description is copied word for word only changing numbers and adjectives?

And how do you explain this:

Quote
Chips
What is going on with the development of our own chips? Can you share details of what is going on with this? We need more information about what is the progress we have made so far and what we plan to accomplish the next few months. Please share as much information as you can.

We are still working on development of our own chip.

Is it really possible to go from development to shipping hundreds of miners in 4 days?

A chip is in development up until the last day that it is no longer in development, you fucking dunce.

Don't get me wrong these are def not the ActM full custom 28nm chips we were told were in development, that does not mean they are hash fast chips and boards though. Could they be a hashfast chip with our own inferior board - yes that is possible. What they are not though is hash fast chips and hash fast boards - i.e. some of the miner is designed by ActM, most likely the boards.

Development ends at tapeout. Tapeout to packaged chip takes a minimum of 7 weeks I've heard.

There is absolutely no reason to not show a picture of your "Long awaited 28nm mining boards " other than they don't exist.

No other asic manufacturer/reseller has attempted to sell in stock hardware without providing pics.

Adding 100 more cards for sale from our mining farm due to the delay in getting our step down transformers installed.  We will be adding back these 100 cards from our next production run in 2 weeks.  The new cards will be our revision 3 cards which will be faster.

Ken, have these cards been sold?

Apparently some lone individual bought 95 of them.  The one guy just posted that he canceled his three.  Ken took his 100 that was for mining and put them for sale.  So we have 103.  And probably two of you bought a board, or one of you bought two.  I feel bad for that guy who bought 95 boards.

So what we're seeing here is that we don't even have custom boards?  He bought 10 packs of boards that ran 1,800 a piece and is trying to sell them for $3,000?  Seriously?  No wonder he doesn't take a picture.

I'm starting to think his new facility is a house we bought him.  3,700 square feet is an average house with a basement.

I swear, every time I think it might be turning a corner it actually just gets worse.

tempest, what's with all the fud?  "I feel sorry for the guy that bought 95"

Explain to me why a genuine shareholder would post stuff like this on a public forum.  Are you intentionally trying to harm the company?  It's one thing to dish out constructive criticism but another thing entirely when you post things that could lead to someone cancelling an order for $284,905.  This makes me so cross!  Sort it out FFS!

Taking in 284k of liabilities (which is what you are doing if these boards aren't ready to ship immediately) is not good for the company.

We are waiting on payment in BTC on 95 cards.  Should the customer not pay within 24 hours the stock will be added back to our in stock quantity.

Can you read? The website says IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT.

When did it say the 6 million in preorders would be delivered?

max 6 per purchase (presumably).  it would be interesting to see the payment address to track the transactions and see how mnay units actually sold.

ps: this is not complicated or abnormal. Its a well-known fact that you can track all bitmain purchases at https://blockchain.info/address/1QB8Ds5KbGYBLQa5RyDQ2sVUeSKWf7qgkZ

I have a feeling that doing this for ACTM/VNC would reveal either a complete lack of orders, or a lot of shuffling funds around in circles

looks like you already did - 102 still available for sale (presumably 1 sold in the last 12 hours)

also, it clearly states a limit of 6 per buyer (online). Hopefully when this extra-ordinary purchase goes through you will post the BTC transaction info in order to prove it? I personally dont know why someone would risk so much in buying that many unproven units when other hardware is available now for cheaper (including spoondolies 1U 1.4TH miner).

are you giving the buyer a significant discount for the quantity? Because that would be a clever way to re-direct the cards to the ACTM mine at a nice write-off.

finally: If these are for immediate sale, and have been tested, I imagine you could point me to the pool/address that they are mining at? I would love to see the 50TH+ chugging away while waiting for the 100TH+100TH to be installed this week
EDIT: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa    I guess you have no hashrate, or are these pointed at some other address that the shareholders don't know about yet? (along with that 737GH of avalon gear)

disclosure: i do not own any ACTM shares. I sold them all when btct closed and following the failures of at least 60% of IPOs at the time (including labcoin). I am following this thread in the hopes that a real product exists, but to otherwise try to shovel through the half-truths and cryptic info that are constantly posted.

i was actually considering purchasing one (for testing then resale) since they are "in-stock" so i went through the process, but the only form of payment available now is bank wire (no bitcoin?!?!).  and it said DHL shipping would take 4 days, which from Missouri to Louisiana would be 2 at the most.  so sadly to say i will not be ordering one of these.

Yes, we only have Wire Transfers on our site at the moment as our bitcoin processor before was MtGox.  We can still take bitcoins, but we will process them manual.  Send us a message if you want to order with bitcoins.

I have sent a message yesterday with my desire to know about ordering with btc but still no reply.

EDIT - looked in my junk mail folder and found the message rejection response i received after submitting my request online.  seems the website has a bad customer service email form:

Would it be possible to mine with more than a single board while we're waiting for them to be sold? I realize that power would be the limiting factor here, but surely more than one card can be hooked up?

Is it possible to run those cards undervolted with air cooling?
