If bitcoin was dead then so would this forum be and those people wouldn't even be posting here. I think most people who claim such things are just trolls. Some are probably pissed that they missed the boat or bought in at the peak and now they can't do anything but pass the time by trolling and Trolls just need to find better things to do because if people on here thought bitcoin was dead then they wouldn't even be here in the first place.

And I think they start believing in what the people around them speaks about bitcoin, they will just start following them and will not make any efforts to know what reality is.

Given what is going on in the world right now (China recession and capital controls, oil countries like Venezuela having 700% inflation, Brazil in trouble and so on), BTC should be flying. it's not because of this blocksize thing.

I think people will be patient for a few more months, but after that will look for another coin that meets their needs better.

I think people will be patient for a few more months, but after that will look for another coin that meets their needs better.

Yeah and that is the reason people don't have faith in bitcoin as it can be easily get replaced by any new or innovative currency which might be better then  bitcoins.

The blocksize things means nothing at all,more transactions ,taking more time soo what?Venezuela is facing 700% inflation soo how they can protect their money against it?With bitcoin they can buy dollars or other currency that is more stable and then convert to the money they need.

People might say that bitcoin is dead maybe due to influences by other people saying that this is not honored by other government or any institution by business. thats true, people dont know any facts about bitcoins but if they here something on the local news that it was used for something illegal they start to think that it is a bad thing

I think people who do that are not the messengers of the government. i would think that doing it is haters or people who receive losses from bitcoin.
