Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

People that think Bitcoin is that just don´t understand it. They will automatically panic if they see a price drop.

All know that those is media trying to take the investors money on their projects,banks and others companies should be paying to media hit bitcoin,but one thing is sure bitcoin is getting bigger and more investors soo i believe they are loosing this war.

I think people will be patient for a few more months, but after that will look for another coin that meets their needs better.

The above quote has clearly described why people believe bitcoin is dead. Also the major issue behind this statement is China's recession will have great impact on price as china holds the highest number of bitcoin users.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

people usually say that just to create huge panic, and if they'll create panic everyone will sell their bitcoins, so they will buy them for small price

if someone says that bitcoin is dead, don't sell your bitcoins and just buy more of them and keep them, don't give them chance to buy cheap bitcoins

The non-believers will always say that and those who want to take it down. Some maybe paid by the government for its price is going up without a tax. They wont get anything so it would be better to erase it.

I think people who do that are not the messengers of the government. i would think that doing it is haters or people who receive losses from bitcoin.

Yeah and that is the reason people don't have faith in bitcoin as it can be easily get replaced by any new or innovative currency which might be better then  bitcoins.

Nope people complaining about BTC is dead , because they waited the price to go 5000$ for a long time and disappointed when it didnt happen. Besides, new participation rate to BTC community has decreased but not zero. Still there are reasons like this. these are few reasons.
