Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

I think why those people keep saying bitcoin is dead so the holder sell their coin so if the holder sell their bitcoin they have possible to dump. So that people have opportunity to buy a cheap price and I think those people are the dev of many altcoin because if the bitcoin dead one altcoin will shine for sure like bitcoin . as of now I don't think bitcoin die the bitcoin now will become stronger and price is very good thumbs up! 👍👍

Im ceptic person, but im surprised that almost no one that i know does know what is bitcoin. I were at mine computer and no one knew what were bitcoin, im shocked to know and see the number of people that doesnt know bitcoin neither crypto currencie. Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

These are the people who dont bellieve in bitcoin and they can not accept it whatever  happens.   Or some members says btc dead to make other holders to sell thier btc and thats the time btc will crash ,and those trolls will be buying btc all the way.

See the bitcoin prices fall much make some people panic and assume bitcoin will die, I think it's one that makes some people say bitcoin will die. In fact very reasonable bitcoin fluctuations and falling prices does not mean bitcoin will die, it is done by some people who do not understand the market bitcoin. But now I'm sure no one said bitcoin will die because the current price is still above and continues to grow.

I thought their fear had to do with bitcoins not appreciating but only depreciating or stabilizing so we have to make them understand that depreciation is part of the attributes of any currency hence they should keep faith with bitcoin.

You are right saying, when bitcoin price come down than many people said that sentence. Why people forget that bitcoin's price never go up high every time, I don't think that any good investors or traders will be think that bitcoin is dead, because they know very well about crypto currency. Well till now I haven't seen too many people who criticise bitcoin as dead and extra. But I have heard stories.
I think the reason for this is :
1. They all are newbies and to get publicity they make do this. They may even say this because they don't know anything about bitcoin like example it's past that it had a price of 0.01$ etc. Inother words lack of research.
Second reason can be that they are jealous as they don't have bitcoins maybe because of price or fees for purchasing it. So because of this they end up calling it dead.

I am pretty sure that is the main reason. They want to manipulate the price and speculation is a big weapon. All time the same story; that is, bitcoin is a ponzi, don't use it is only for illegal activities and bitcoin crashes. But  people are not so gullible as much as it used to be in the recent past. They do their research so they don't believe speculators. But the worst, which is not easy to overcome is panic selling. People they see only the price not the volume, trend, news and eventually they can't control their emotions and the continuation is known. Price is falling and some who already cash out buy low so after a while to cry 'to the moon', 'sky rocket' and the same again and again.

Every thing will have their ATH and ATL price however that doesnt mean bitcoin is showing weaknesses. The supply of bitcoin is 21 million however the demand for it is actually getting bigger and bigger therefore sooner or later we might not be surprise to see the price actually could hit $10,000 or even be worthless

And if you have a suffiecient knowledge even just a few minutes to think and analyze you won't believe what those people have said cause they are probably just trolls who wants to persuade newbies to sell their coins or to demotivate people into bitcoin . Or maybe they want bitcoins price to drop so they can buy more at a lower price which is impossible as it is not persuading enough .

That something we should be watching, when there is panic selling, we take advantage of it and buy cheap bitcoins. Whales has done a good job for convincing the weak hands to sell their bitcoin so they can capitalize on their weakness. What is important is maintain a continues education on bitcoin so we will know what is real or manipulated.

If you ask why people are confused, Bitcoin is showing a bumpy graphic and people do not want it. But naturally we know that this should be a normal situation. Some people may be expecting more of them to fall off and have more aim at keeping more bitcoins on their hands. Another point I can actually say is that there is no tax and it is seen as money laundering.

Well i disagree that having a bumpy graphic has negative effecta on btc. I think it can even attract more people to using it because of the constant changes thats happening to its price. Ans as we can all attest right now bitcoin is very much alive and strong

Don't show to people anything that would give them any doubts with bitcoin, there is no need to complicate things when explaining to them. Let's show that the yearly progress of bitcoin and we can vouch that since we are here for a long time. The last year's bitcoin performance was really amazing, and we can continue that this year. It's not dead when we are about to hit the highest price ever.

I disagree we must show other people the good and the bad, if you show to other people the possibility of earning big with bitcoin, they will get excited but it is very unlikely they will make it big and then they will blame for not showing them the whole truth, it is way better to be completely honest in topics like this that involve money.

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.

Aside from that, they are blinded for the features of bitcoin especially for what it can do to anyone once they use the system concept of it. Meaning this people who always said that bitcoin is dead, they're the one who is really dead for bitcoin.
