Have the IPO coins been distributed? I should check whether i received mine
I didn´t receive all of my IPO refund and also didn't receive the equivalent GPU coins. I was scammed by GPUcoin team. It was only on a few amount but i'm care with this things... I will check if I received mine when I go home and inform you I contact them but they insist that refund me. I explained that one of my IPO refund is in fault but they don´t care. They didn´t answer my emails and I don´t have all of my btc or the GPUcoins. I have two of my IPO numbesr on the gpu website http://www.gpucoin.net/ipo.html (101 and 176) I have the emails with this proof. I want to clarify this situation but the dev team doesn´t care.... |

All you have to do is post up the BTC address he told you to use for sending him money, and then post up the address you sent money from. This would be simple proof that you did in fact buy-in. |

The devs are not gone from this project. I know for a fact that one of them has a fair amount invested in this project.
The issue with the email account was due to his mail server having issues.
I have been in contact with CEO and have been urging him to communicate more. From my experience it seems like he is more orientated on the business end of things and not on the marketing/community. I am going to continue pressing this matter.
I will personally reach out about your post bitwarrior. I will hopefully have more information about other questions in this thread as well but I can't guarantee anything other than I will remain in contact.

I remember reading earlier in the thread that people were getting e-mails bouncing back when sending to the '@gpu.net' address, so maybe that. |

The CEO of GPUcoin was always lousy at communication with the people. Besides the couple posts and a letter here and there, it was the DEVs that actually communicated with the people in this forum. Now that the coin has launched, they have moved on and we're stuck with just the CEO for news. It's no surprise that the popularity of this coin has dropped not because of mine and dumpers (which we wasn't as bad as it could have been) but rather the terrible communication from the CEO and all this FUD that he has caused simply by being MIA.
Where did the dev move to? The next coin launch? Family? Who cares? He was just paid to launch a coin. I didn't know that. So GPUC has no dev atm and no marketing dept.? CEO should hire one of us to do some p.r. I volunteer. I'll do it for scraps Gr8 idea. Request bounty from the 75 mils. And yes,to get a reply ask micryon to ask the ceo. I am quite sure ceo will agree, but also quite sure he will not reply you. Comunication trogh micryon is possible tough. This coin with proper marketing department can go 100x in future, if not more. |

I'm not 100% on this but he was running his own server/mail server and it was having issues. Obviously it shouldn't have happened but it wasn't a matter of saving $9 Shouldn't matter. Bitcoin is bitcoin. Whether it's .01 or 1.0, you treat your customers with respect.
It doesn't matter what the amount was, I'm confident the CEO will take care of any issues given time. |

I think I am done here. If we use Kittek as an example of what happens when the dev team is MIA then it is not hard to see what is going to happen to this coin. If he opens the store now the GPU's will cost just over 3 mil GPU but where is the incentive to buy the coins and then buy the GPU with the GPU coin? The more I think about this the less I can see how this will work.

Not that running your own mailserver is bad, but make sure it works during a crucial timeframe. Makes me think more and more this guy got DD'd from the Navy. If this is the level of quality he was providing, I'm surprised he qualified as a nuke. |
