Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Prices start to slowly rise on cryptorush, I already made some good profits in GPUC amount Smiley

Hey, anyone knows how to do RPC call to wallet to get info? I couldn't google anything useful, so some code sample or at least ideas would be great. I have couple useful tools in mind that I would like to code when I get how this RPC calls works Smiley

EDIT: due to lack of free time, I still haven't finished with pool comparison and pool stats application...

Well, it's not that the price of GPUC at cryptorush is inching up slowly and steadily satoshi by satoshi. It's the consistent BUY PRESSURE at the top of the buy list that tells me its healthy, and on its way. Difficulty as yet has remained pretty much unchanged for days. Around 4.5 to 5. But, as the market trend continues, bet your bottom dollar that it will rise. Get em while you can guys!!! Easy money and video cards!!

Love the idea of this coin. But what i'm wondering is how is the store going to keep up with demand for these cards when GPU manufacturers can barely do it themselves?

The only stores that have any in stock are the ones that bought tons of them last month from the latest shipment from China. I've been in contact with some of the GPU manufacturers like GIGABYTE, and they have been waiting for a shipment from china for the last few weeks.

Seems as fast as China can make them, they are being sold. So if you are not buying shit loads of them, like for example Newegg, you will be constantly stuck in the "waiting for shipment from China loop", which takes weeks, or sometimes more than a month from what i see.

Still waiting for the coin issue from our thoughts threat on gpucoin forum. Have these not been paid yet?

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

Yes, i know what you mean, i don't think they will.. Unless they have their own company building them.. lol .We will see. this might be their Achilles heel.

New P2Pool launched in Atlanta, has 20% of all p2pool hash rate.

address: stratum+tcp://198.12.78.137:9404
Username: your GPUCoin address
Passoword:  Does not matter, anything!

example:
"url" : "stratum+tcp://198.12.78.137:9404",
"user" : "GNhMq6LQNewjBCykyX5t8HwbSbuoj61uM7",   <----replace with your wallet address
"pass" : "x"

P2Pools pay you out instantly once a block is found by ANY p2pool, they all work together.
P2Pools for GPUCoin are hitting about 3 to 4 blocks an hour (5 so far in the 9am est hour), NO WAITING for your GPUCoins! They Instantly hit your wallet as soon as anyone hits a block on any P2Pool!!

Did your P2Pool go offline? It is ok!  Just set another P2Pool up as a backup, you do not loose your shares when you switch p2pools!

Fancy new domain name is on the way, justing waiting for things to propagate.
address will be gpu.blockfound.net:9404, but wait on that a day.   Smiley

Consindering at today's "crappy" price you still make 1.5x more mining this coin then mining in an autopool, what are you bitching about? Oh my, I shouldn't have said that right, people can't seem to be able to calculate proffitability this days...

You can effectively double that really compared to scrypt as the hash rates are at only 40%

remember this coin is not some shitcoin scrypt
