Ok, for those who were here earlier when I couldn't get vertminer to work. I installed Windows 7 on a new hard drive. I ran vertminer, and it became blank, but there since to be some activity because the whole display has become slugglish.
I checked the pool, and I'm getting 7kh/s. That's really bad right? Considering that I'm using two 290x.
which 290x do you have? i may be able to help. p.s i feel for you Thanks. I have two R9 290x, both water cooled. What kind of kh/s should I be getting? I've been at this for over six hours, but at the moment I'm like relaxed with such low kh/s, because the frustration the last 6 hours or so had been so intense, that I actually wanted to punch the wall. That's really rare for me. The same last week. iv edited my comment with all details lol jus nip back try that see how it goes remember to delete the bin files. could be your tc toooo high I saw it. I deleted the .bin files. still the same error. I'm going to try to remove the GPUs and put them in my other computer. I tried running Vertminer there, integrated graphics, and at least it was running. I just don't understand what's going on with my rig. Tried it on Windows 7 and 8, same problems. try a bare bones start delete everything after the -p password part all bins and run see what tc value it sets in new bin file name thats your starting thread concurrency

Sunday Reboot: Micryon came up with the idea that we should launch instead a day prior to the official launch, but only have block rewards at 1 GPUC for the first 2600 blocks. This allows for people to ramp up the network hash gradually to avoid forking, allows people to tweak their rigs on the actual network, and alleviates all the traffic to the wallet downloads.
That is until the 2601 block. then fork, wallets etc.. not going to input a lot of info here, just glad someone is finally thinking, however; you need to work on the result, going to be interesting to watch from the side lines.

That's really rare for me. The same last week. I get almost 50% exactly from my r9 290. So I assume the same for the 290x. what are you getting? what is ur config? I only get 250 kh/s on it.

wait for the real reward system to kick in last 5-6 pages have the same stuff on it True True I know , I'm just pointing out how weird it is Anyways my miners are set up and locked in finally. I have em set with CGwatcher to switch over to oakpool when it's about time. My 2nd smaller rig, I'm leaving it pointed at oakpool so I don't have to think about that one. Solo mining StableCoin in the meantime, because I can solo hit 5 or 6 blocks an hour with it and sell for good profit.

Just came back from trying my GPUs on my other computer, and even though vertminer was running on that computer with integrated graphics, it didn't work with my 290x's.
Really disappointing, but it looks like I won't be mining this coin, and I don't know why. Had been really looking forward to it since it was announced weeks ago. Guess I will be buying it.
