I finally connected, took me 4-5 tries and about 10 minutes. However i find i get some rejects still.... probably a hard load on the pool

Huge premine and no would could sync and by the time i did i was looking at the blocks and somehow someone mined an extra 250ish blocks.

Did you read that I restarted the stratum server due to issue with errors? That would explain it....
