heelo,
I've been mining dnotes since the launch and am a bit disappointed in the mining community for not supporting this coin more. I have great respect for the effort this team has put in to this coin, and am willing to put an extra effort to see this coin make a real impact in the future.
If you guys need any help, I am fluent in french, greek, italian, spanish and portuguese.

26,347,500 mined at this moment. Roughly 6,715 bonus blocks to go.

That is pretty awesome.

can we tell how spread out that is by chance? like is it only held by 10,000 people, or 50,000 Smiley
Obviously the larger the number the better.
And do we have any easy way to tell new adopters to the currency over time?

With enough time you could get close to the true number, like a app that scans the block chain and discovers IP addresses associated with wallet addresses then tallies them.

I do not know if Dev. or some one can figure that out. It will be good to know.  What I do know is that sell orders at Crypto Rush has been in the range between 1 to 2 million DNotes every time I checked, like twice a day. AllCoin sell orders has been just under 1 million. Considering that a total of 33 million DNotes are mined/issued to date that is quite encouraging. To me it means that there is no noticeable sign of dumping and that 90+% of DNotes are held for a better price or long term appreciation. If this holds up, that could be another DNotes difference.

My quick calculation is as of  8:00 pm (CST) 3-8-14, inclusive of block reward, 26,278,251 DNotes have been mined. The Dev, or one of our miners needs confirm this.

A good trend to watch for over the next few months is if DNotes consistently show a higher high and a higher low. In other words, it means it keep reaching a new high record but seldom drops below the last low. Should DNotes achieve such a trend line over an extended period of time it will become very promising that we may finally have a digital currency sufficiently stable to be widely accepted as a reliable and trustworthy currency  for general commerce worldwide. That would be a great achievement to celebrate.
Aside from future changes until they happen, pretty much all the stats for DNotes can be found in the block explorer. You can find it in the op but here's the link http://altexplorer.net/chain/DNote  The total coins mined so far is technically 51 million and change. Block 1 had a reward of 25 million which is/was for bounties, giveaways, contests, etc. Block 2-250, with a reward of 250 Notes per block, was mined by Dnotes Pool to be given as a block finders bonus. Then the 1000 coin per block kicked in on block 251 and ending on block 33,250. I think it may have been misstated somewhere but I remember hearing 10% premine or 50 million, but according to the explorer it was actually 25 million.  Also like I said almost everything can be found on the block explorer. For example I can tell you how much the dev has paid out and to how many addresses. This is why I love crypto!  We could/would have identified almost every companies collapse in the past before it happened.  This IS the future!

Also, I don't know a lot, but regarding the trends I agree.  It would denote stability and growth.

Now that I think of it. I am extremely curious about how many countries DNotes are in.  I see a lot of different languages but I want to know literally how spread out DNotes are.  Awesome!
I'll start by saying you can find DNotes in the US!

Since all the Dnotes are connected via the "World" wide web I guess it's global no matter what right? Tongue
I will have a Vsauce moment here, and ask how much do all the Dnotes weigh? ;-)

I am sure Dnotes would not mind if you translated and posted about Dnotescoin to other language boards. I am sure there are other Cryptocurrency boards in several languages. I would highly recommend if you do you let Dnotes know on this forum so they give you Credit.

---------------------

Also Another idea for Dnotes - I know we have the scratch off game for a chance at 500 notes, can we work on other types of scratch offs like word searches, or Bingo type games (Renamed to DNOTE heh)  And maybe a cool slot machine styled note game might be fun too

DNotes also have a supporter in Slovenia. If Slovenian translation is needed, I can do my best to provide it. Smiley

I can do the bulgarian translation if needed.

P.S. I don't want bounties... I just want the coin to succeed.

A TON. Oh sorry, I thought you  meant its weight in gold at some point in the distant future. I am just trying to be funny, of course, responding to a "Vsauce" question.

A little subliminal message idea for people.  Try using the word denote as often as possible, without overusing it, while saying good things about coins etc..  And try not to talk directly about DNotes while doing so. That would be funny if it worked!

We need to get some miners back here.  People have been leaving slowly which is weird because according to my math the 1Mh/s/day value is just as much as most coins right now even with the low price.  You know all of you dumpers out there if this price simply doubled(very possible) the value of your hashes would be double or triple most coins.

As I understand it, the 25,000,000 DNotes extra reward would have  been 100% awarded to our miners sometime this Thursday, virtually dropping the daily new supply of DNotes by 75%.  Given that the demand remains the same, wouldn’t this denote a much tighter supply and hence, more precious? This generally holds true whether one is investing in altcoins or precious metals.

You folks bring up a good point around something I have been wondering the last few days. I mean, I'm all in on this coin. So I'll keep mining when the reward is over. But it would be interesting to hear the dev's thoughts on plans/ideas/stratagems for keeping the mining robust when the reward blocks are over. I feel like there is the potential for an exodus of miners once the block reward drops.
