Sorry guys, I've built a new stratum and coind server from the ground up.  No errors, valid shares, but no blocks being found.  Still looking into this.

If DNotes Pool can shed some light on how they fixed theirs up that would be great.

Also if you mined here for a while and got 0 blocks.  Post your support for charity pool who lost most likely just as much as all of you. If you have an address somewhere in the post you might possibly most definitely will get something nice.
No offense charity pool but I don't know you so PLEASE TAKE NO OFFENSE! I will donate 1000NOTEs to your coffers when the explorer is up and confirms you did indeed find 0 blocks.  Once again I apologize for the lack of trust.

i've only just noticed the charity pool one, that's quite cool. Be nice if more pools did something along those lines.

Looks like the findblock cron had stopped working after I rebuilt the new stratum server.  Forced it to run and we now have blocks!

Cheers!

DCoins will be like a Tyson uppercut to the dome of other altcoins. Eventually standing over its hapless victims like the iconic Ali standing over Foreman when he won the title against all odds.

Barring some minor problems with a pool, I'd say this was a very successful and fair launch. This coin has a great website, excellent layout and the wallet seems to be functioning perfectly. But above all, they seem professional, business oriented and have an aggressive marketing plan. Keep your eye on this one!

CharityMiningPools UP and RUNNING!

Looks like we're in business!

Rebuilt a couple dedicated servers for DNotes and afterwards had a problem with the findblock cron.

Appears to be all sorted out and we have found blocks!

Thanks to RusBoy for taking me back out of the weeds and looking at the simple side of things.

+1 actually, on time, windows qt ready and functioning, no early start from pools, low block reward for first 250 blocks, and like you say seem to have some good marketing ideas for the future...
compared to yesterdays launches.....this was a model of excellence.

I agree. I liked the idea a lot. Which is why I went ahead and chose that as my pool, and stayed for 2 hours when my intuition told me otherwise. I was a bit annoyed, but as tofer pointed out, he probably lost way more than I potentially did. And didn't get to implement a cool idea. Bummer for him, and for a bunch of us. Hopefully he can get up and running soon, he seems like he's trying hard, and to no avail. Which I can definitely understanding. Since I am running Linux for the first time in my life with my mining rig, I've spent many a night tearing my hair out getting things up and running!
