The bug is fixed and the code is patched. There will be a hard fork at block 537500, which gives us a couple days to get everyone to update prior to the fork. New version is 1.2.

The updated source code is available here:
https://github.com/DNotesCoin/DNotes
All pools and exchanges will need to update their daemon to the latest version of the code.

New windows wallet here:
http://dnotescoin.com/dnotes-1.2-win.zip
Windows user can simply extract the files from the zip file and open dnotes-qt.exe. You may disregard the previous dnotes-qt.exe. No need to modify any data files, or change any existing files, your wallet.dat and backups will work with the new upgrade seemlessly.

We will have a new Mac wallet soon, thanks to DNotesPool for the help on the Mac wallets!

Once we mine up to block 537500, the reward will be back to normal. In the meantime, we will continue to add transaction fees to the network to help compensate for the block reward.

I will be emailing the pools and exchanges and services that may have a DNotes daemon running.

Just to put it out there, the DNotesVault will be updated as well? Thanks and great work!!

Happy Birthday DNOTES!

Like everybody else here, I invested in many a crypto and lost on all but this fantastic little gem of a coin. This gem of a coin is soon to be a Goliath of a diamond. Every strategic goal the development team has discussed on the forums has been implemented perfectly, and an agile development plan has meant that that DYNA and DNotes (the dev) have responded quickly, and taken on board user feedback which had yielded CRISP and cryptomoms.

This is a great community with a really intelligent core that has a wide variety of skills that we can utilise together as we overcome the challenges we will face in this nascent industry.

DNotes will be a world mover. Would have written more but still haven't been home to the comfort of my computer (mobile is difficult and I wanted to post before you went to sleep in the USA), despite being back in my own country.

Thanks DNotes.

Thanks, TeeGee. Welcome home and hope you had a great trip. I am confident that we can take DNotes as far as we have the time and energy to do so. The foundation has been laid. Each of the CRISP can be quite massive by itself. On top of that, DNotesVault itself has the potential of a financial powerhouse. We can expand aggressively or take our time to do things right over the next twenty four months. We already have a yard stick of one year for reference as to what we mean by taking our time. Don't forget to factor in the synergistic effect of our total package now we have a growing family of CRISPs. CryptoMoms, DNotesVault and DNotes. It will be a very exciting year.

One last light hearted post before I say goodnight to the "Birthday Coin".

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, “This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you.” The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, “Which do you want, son?” The boy takes the quarters and leaves. “What did I tell you?” said the barber. “That kid never learns!” Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store. “Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?” The boy licked his cone and replied, “Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!”

Happy Birthday DNotes!

Well done with the quick resolution!

We have updated our DNotes daemons to the latest version for the Mining Pool, Block Explorer, and Faucet.

btw, could you please update the OP to show that our Pool is running CoiniumServ pool software and not NOMP.
We also only have a fee of 1% and not 2%.

Cheers All!

Just a quick question for DNotesPool. Is it correct that 26 MH/s is yielding 37 DNotes per day or is the calculation incorrect? Before the wallet upgrade, I was getting 187 to 200 or so...

Current difficulty - 64. If you mine with 26 MHashes/s you can find a block every about two hours. Note: if you are mining on pool you also earn part of block accroding to shares!

for not lost big miners in the bug throuble, developers add for each block finder 25 dnotes, and 1% for workers, but almost on dnotes pool  high% of blocks are finded for 1 miner, he has 10 times more hash than 2 fast miner, so bonus cake its not for all but dont worry bug is solved i think, so tomorrow win normal -5% of anual halfening, block reward go active when the block of fork is done.

Yep, that is correct. It won't be back to normal block reward until we reach block 537500. Chances are, you will wind up with a similar amount of DNotes, because of bonuses and transaction fees we are adding to the network.

Ah yes, totally spaced that, I read it and promptly forgot it!  Smiley  All is well then, thanks!

Chinese New Year 2015: 6 things you need to know about the Year of the Goat (or Sheep)

Today Feb 19, 2015 “marks Chinese New Year, the longest and most important holiday in the Chinese calendar.

The world’s largest annual human migration is now well underway as 2.8 billion trips are made across China in what is known as chun yun, when students, migrant workers and office employees living away from home will make the journey back to celebrate with their families.  ……….

Chinese New Year is the longest national holiday in China, spanning a total of fifteen days, and New Year’s Day is the most important date in the Chinese calendar.

The first three days of the new year are a statutory holiday but usually most people will have the time from New Year’s Eve to the sixth day of the new year off from work.”
