I am trying to put together some stats to 'hopefully' show you can make nearly the same output elsewhere, but I think most are in it for the jackpot shares...

Can't test though if I can't get in.

Can you also share any info you have on the payouts that were shared with those in the pool from the jackpots? (Big and small wins).

Just trying to put into numbers what the perception is and if people will them feel it is worth it to mass in one spot.

Well our pool has found all jackpot recently and paid to them.
2 jackpots were credited to block finder only and other jackpots were all distributed 50 : 50.
I think you might know why we changed and changed again the jackpot rule.

Actually most of jackpot winners were big hash people. I'm happy to see some small hash winning the jackpot, but that happened only one time if I remember it correctly.


Jackpot finding block stat would tell more about coin earnings.

Block finding percentage is too high than any other coin pools. (We are running many other coin pools so you will be able to compare them easily)

And this percentage is getting higher these days. You will see that "All Time" percentage is lower than 24 Hours or Last 7 Days percentage.

Other jackpot pool suffers this phenomenon as well.


This is due to too frequent block info reset. Individual PoS wallets are increasing and these wallets reset PoW block finding which is targeted to 2 minutes. PoS blocks are targeted to 20 seconds, so one PoW block finding is interrupted every 20 seconds.
Hashing is probability thing and about 6 interrupts happening at one PoW block makes this weird percentage.

I think this percentage will be raised more and more as individual wallet increases.

I didn't understand the furor that your change had on the miners, but I guess looking back at how your pool has won every single jackpot (I think...) they probably had it a little more right that I did at the time. It does seem a little off that having a 50% chance to win gets 100% of the rewards... but that is

I figured I would have to factor that in with the rewards to the equation. I guess like winning the lottery 'hope' is stronger sometimes than the possibility of even bigger payouts elsewhere.

I will post what I find here for all to read so it will be open info, but I am going to give you a sneak (and any other pool ops as well as the coin devs) just so maybe we make sure it is valid data and everyone can be prepared for any questions that may come.



Look at me, I sound like I am investigating... I have no idea what I will find, but the entire draw of the jackpot is very intriguing to me and maybe this will be some good date to help make sure the coin can stay healthy for a long time to come.

Just like to be thorough and collect data to make good decisions and have intelligent conversation.
