Solarcoin notice

Hi
This is miningpoolhub.

Solarcoin pool is reverted to previous fork. (No hardfork)
We resumed solarcoin pool and mining is working well currently.
We will announce if things change.

Thanks.

Well looks like 2.0.3 started staking at 835000, and PoW mining in 2.0.3 is currently disabled. Now what?

Edit: it seems that the best option as of now is for everyone to go back to 1.5. I will be doing that plus resuming PoW mining.

MiningPoolHub mentioned here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=785257.msg12526857#msg12526857

Will keep you posted.
Thanks!

Thank you. I read your post.
I have no idea about the PoW mining break. Something changed in Solarcoin's pool mining but I don't know the exact problem as I'm not the Solarcoin dev.

I reported error message and some "submitblock" logs but dev hasn't fixed it yet and didn't reply any messages.
I think dev is not interested in PoW mining anymore. Not sure what to do at this moment.

I would recommend you to mine other coin. Current mining works can be blown away in the wind.

Thank you!
PoW mining for SLR is going away in any case; I am staying on MiningPoolHub as a backup until past the transition from PoW to PoST so that all important issues in the new PoST implementation get fixed and the fork blockchain starts running smoothly as intended. No problems with the wind blowing - the wind is us Wink
Thanks! Will keep you posted here.

Thank you for your support. I think it's time to update to latest SLR.
Our old 1.5 wallet is interrupting network transition at this moment and Dev doesn't seem to revert to old version any more.

It seems PoST is working as intended.
I will test PoW mining on new wallet.

I did test solo PoW in the PoST wallets, it has been disabled.
We still have a major issue with PoST - block rate is ~12-15 times slower than the target, the reason for this has not been precisely determined yet.
Thanks!

"We recommend you to stay away from Solarcoin pool if you don't have special reason."
Thank you man! Best wording ever!
Cheers  Wink

Edit: BlockChain explorer finally working for PoST SLR:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/slr/#
For me, time to wind up PoW mining it. Thanks!

Bitcoin notice.

Hi, this is miningpoolhub.

Bitcoin core client had some serious problem these days as you may know.
Fork occurred on live blockchain and massive memory consumption is happening.

We are updating Bitcoin core at this moment. We will clean up and move to new wallet if it's not solved still.

Sorry for inconvenience, and thank you.

Are BTC withdrawals not working? I requested a withdrawal 2 days ago and it still has not yet processed.

Problem solved.

There were small amount payout reserved and it took the bitcoin wallet to stop payout.
As these days, bitcoin transaction is flooding, we had to increase the minimum payout amount and it made such problem.

Manual payout amount was 0.00001 and now it's 0.00005

Sorry for inconvenience.

I think Cryptsy will verify within 2~3 days from now on.
I will open a ticket for it for faster process.

some guy on the DGB qubit pool has no idea how to mine and is throwing a Gh at a pool tripling the expected shares
and destroying the good ratio of found blocks
when i started hashing there the 7 day ratio was around 80% now its 94%
then jumping out when a long block comes out ruining it for anyone hashing non-stop

good job ruining it for everyone since hes prolly just dumping the price down too since hes not really making much money vs the hashing hes throwing at the pool

Can anyone tell me why the "coin/day" figure shown in the pool stats is correct for some coins and then so very very wrong for other coin's ?

cheers

It is probability and mathmatics. There can be huge difference between expected return and real mining.

Anyway what coins are very very wrong? I would check if something's are misconfigured.

Geocoin pool notice.

There were some internal database error with geocoin pool and some hashes were lost for about 6 hours.
We restored previous backup data and distributed 6 hours of mined coins proportionally by recent share contribution logs.

Sorry for inconvenience.

if i mine at the UFO pool it say's i will get 10 ufo/day when really i get like 200000+ ,,, same with the FTC pool the figures seem way way low

but if i use START pool the figures are very surprisingly  accurate
