the question is: CAN WE TRACK THEM DOWN and get our btc??? Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
I lost my family savings...

Well, lets say it this way... You should have done a research before investing. Many guys here warned about this!!! And while arbitrage is real and can work there is question of the who runs the business and what are true intentions... btc-arbs is cloudy website... no info about owners nothing... just give us bitcoin and trust us.

Also investing family savings into one place is just silly.

Sorry to say you this but I’m 90% sure you have been Goxed and unless the btc-arbs really gets it together (which is very improbable, especially because their explanation is basically BS)you will never see your money again.

This is the real truth. I took a look for myself and I gotta agree. That explanation is utter shit. Lies upon lies. Sorry for your loss, guys.

Well ... sad story bro... But let me explain to you this is not about Bitcoin. Your loss is fault of trusting shady company not bitcoin.

Wow, I'm amazed at how people put everything in this site. I never totally trusted btc-arbs, although I did lose money; I had been pulling out weekly and got about half what I had put in - out!
I don't believe there is a way to get money back from this site, a class-action might work, but typically those things give you pennies back and the lawyers make all the money. You might have better results saying a prayer and hoping the BS statements are actually true and they are going to try to take this site 'to the moon'

It's a bit weird, it's an unbelievable story, but on the other hand, hwy even bother writing a story like that and asking people to ask questions to their support when you plan on running with the money anyway?

and why does everyone have 1% of their initial investment as confirmed money and the rest as 'unconfirmed' money?

Well i guess there's nothing else we can do but wait and hope.

Perhaps Adam actually has good intentions but just ran out of money, so he locked everything but 1% and is somehow hoping to pull a miracle out of his ass and pay back the locked funds over time - not sure, just thoughts to possibly answer your question.

There's always a chance that BTC-Arbs got scammed themselves....

I doubt it, but it would be quite funny if a site considered to be a scam was in fact scammed itself.

I've lost 0.2 BTC myself. As with anything in finance. Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. Putting your money into any site like this is a risk. Doesn't matter if it's Bitcoin or GBP.

PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.

It's kinda funny that they report a 2.10% gain on one of the slowest days of the month.
But if they're never planning on releasing any earnings then why not report profits
'going to the moon'?  Oh well, I only lost a couple of BTC.

With btc-arbs reporting a 2+% gain today, did anyone see any increase from your 1%? I see no additional profit in the transaction logs on my active coins.

It just proves the point that they need to review all account balances.......

I think we should receive the 2% of the full amount of our deposits.  After all, they did have full use of those funds during that period.

Looks like they are using the heartbleed bug to "adjust" the balance.  Did anyone's "legacy" funds match their actual funds?  I had over 2btc left after the attempted withdraw, but currently shows .0368btc.

22/04/2014 18:00    Legacy Fund Transfer of 0.0368
22/04/2014 17:46   Bitcoin withdrawal for 1.6421 bitcoins cancelled by admin

Hope we didn't get goxed ;o/
