Hey how do I set up my Litecoin client to point to the Coinotron LTC pool? In the Litecoin client I put the following:
Server: coinotron.com
Port: 9332
Username: My username
Password: My password
Is there something I'm missing?
my command: minerd.exe --algo scrypt --s 6 --threads 3 --url http://coinotron.com:8322 --userpass maybe port: 8322? |

Today we have experimentally introduced to our pool new coin - LQC.
You can use the same miner program as for LTC.

DGM reward system in BTC pool ! We are changing our BTC payout algorithm to Meni Rosenfeld's Double Geometric Method. This method has been designed to limit reward variance and is hopping-proof. Pool has been fixed to support all Reaper versions.
Latest Reaper 13 beta 4 is sending requests which are being rejected by pool with info: Error 400 Bad request (invalid header)
Those requests have got multiple User-agent headers. This behavior is not compliant with W3C and server automatically rejected them. I had to find workaround.
Bottom line is: you can mine litecoins using latest Reaper now.

I was mining LQC yesterday, chugging along quite nicely. I'm waiting for my rewards to confirm though. Hey- you never know. :-) |
