We have started NovaCoin pool.

Remarks:
- port 9322 or 8322
- you should use cgminer with --scrypt option
- currently only getwork protocol is supported
- payouts are disabled until we are sure that everything works correctly.

any estimate when payouts will be enabled?

I don't think so. Your miner submitted last share at 2013-02-12 23:12:35.311 UTC. Since then every 5 min your miner reconnected, authorized miner without submitting any work at all.

It looks to me like a problem with cgminer.

I'm not an expert in cgminer tweaking. I think you should consult this issue with cgminer's author: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0
I can only suggest to try run cgminer without any optimizations. If that helps, your issue is related to configuration parameters.

520 blocks, currently it is about 1 day. But when difficulty stabilizes it may took longer. Probably as much time as in case of PPC, because NVC is based on PPC.

Novacoin s the same example duplicate of PPCoin.
But I will profit at the start with low dificulty
