One of the 3 US stratum servers had a brief outage (~7 minutes). My alarm woke me up and I got it back up and running ASAP.
Based on server connections, it looks like the vast majority of users simply bounced to the next IP in the DNS round robin, so hopefully very few users saw any significant impact.

Having a higher minimum difficulty pays more per share or is it just to prevent miners DDos pool servers?
A difficulty of 2 (vs 1) means you submit, on average, half as many shares, and each share pays twice as much. i.e. no affect ... other than a higher variance ... So say I go full Rambo and set to max dif. I'll get countless discards but the ones that made it through are worth pound for pound.......? Also, are my nonce competing with other miners just as with solo mining. My alarm woke me up........

You can get a email add from your carrier that will send SMS to your phone. Just put the add in the email at BTCGuild. |

Site has been working fine all morning here. Sounds like a Cloudflare mirror issue which probably cleared up within a minute of your post. |

I still cannot access the site Is CloudFlare blocking puertorrican IP Addresses? I just began using my new USb blocks erupters and suddenly, the site began showing the 522 error, but the stratum servers works great. |

Not sure on other alternatives outside of a VPN. It sounds like whichever server you're get sent to for Cloudflare is having trouble (or your IP range is tied to heavy malware activity). |

Fixed a display error on coupon orders. Queue position was showing shipped, while order status/tracking was showing 'Shipping Soon'. It is now showing tracking if your coupon order has been prepared for shipment.

Satoshi level rounding has always been a slight issue since BTC Guild actually stores the data way beyond the 8th decimal. I'll take a look to see why you're getting different numbers on the two  . Over half of the coupon orders have already shipped. I'm expecting ALL of them (at least the ones already ordered) to be shipped out by tomorrow. |

Were the all coupons distributed already? Was there a the plan to distribute them gradually, like every 2 hours? Was a cut-off order of 920 a final one, or was only the first step of the coupons distribution cycle?
So regardless of what goes on, you're not likely to make it down to order #50 with coupons, eh? |
