I think it will not last very long. At the moment, the developers are starting very interesting projects related to the blockchain-based casino. And here is announcement thread one of them:

Never tried any of blockchain games, but I know some of them offer opportunity to gain , especially if one of them is hyping . Just remember crypto kitties and it is mind blowing seeing adults playing with kitties, but prices were high!

The blockchain technology can be applied as a whole in a huge number of places, we can only show our imagination and nothing more. Therefore, I understand and see that now there is an opportunity to really promote this technology not only in games.

Where else would you like to promote blockchain technology?

Well, I do not know any of these games, but really the Dapps that allow the incredible builds of these games is a strong trend for the next few months from 2019 to 2020, you made that thread in 2018 with a good view, congratulations to the insight. However, there are some major challenges like marketing that includes initial marketing and investments, seeking money through ICOs is not the best thing to do today, unfortunately, that market is saturated.

I really want to play some crypto game daily but i really can't find one for me. I have just checked all games you give us;

CryptoSpaceX is not an active portal, i have checked their telegram channel they are not active and only 46 users. (https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@crypto_spacex)

Ethercraft platform is not open, they say "Stay tuned for our beta crafting update"

CryptoSaga asks for the MetaMask when you enter the website, which i didn't like.

Ether Kingdoms is looks fine and i registered and will play it.

EtherRock is not working website, when you visit you will see it.

Angel Battles looks very good and proimisng website, i joined and will start to play.

CryptoFights game will start soon, but the website looks promising.

Interesting topic. Most of all you are interested in games where you do not need your own investments, as a rule, such games attract the most people.

There is a trend in next decade for blockchain based games, collectible+ VR games. At the moment we need to develop this industry and I think that volume now is too low as well as quality of games. But situation should change soon!

Ok. Who can explain what is the main advantage of blockchain based games? Why are they better than games on centralized servers? I can't find any reasons to play on blockchain. One exception is gambling. You can check that casino is not cheating (open source code) + guarantee of payment (blockchain) = good product. Other uses are absurd in my opinion.

Indeed, now gambling on blockchain technology can not be trusted. You are absolutely right

Blockchain games already dominate the market, and compete with very large gaming projects that do not use blockchain technology. You agree?

Hey there!
Lately i have been on a lookout for blockchain games, which i think is quite a hot topic now.

There are some where the whole gameplay is looking at the picture of a token you mined, and on the other hand - games with actual gameplay, for what it's worth.
Besides obvious Cryptokitties, i've assembled a list of games that took my attention:

1) CryptoSpaceX - beautiful space-themed project, they released Ep.1 i think, but i haven't looked at it much since July, so i might be wrong.

2) Ethercraft - you could say it's a roguelike-ish kind of game? Nice pixel graphics, live market.

3) CryptoSaga - for those of you, who loved jRPG's, here's a cool one. Animations is decent, have potential.

4) Ether Kingdoms - cute red\blue dorks mine themselves, and then go to battles to die. Very good art, and gameplay is decent too.

5) EtherRock - i wanted to include that one, because the idea is just funny. It reminds me of infamous potato salad kickstarter, in regards of effort, but those rocks are selling still.

6) Angel Battles - PvP oriented game, as far as i figured, very nice art, in my opinion, but the breeding part (regarding Angels) got me surprised a little bit there.

7) CryptoFights - 3D graphics aren't something to write home about, but gameplay seems interesting. PvP is my jam.

So, that's not at all everything that i laid my eyes upon, but those are prime examples i'd say, at least for me. I do, of course, enjoy interaction with another people in MMO games,
so my favorits are a little bit biased: numbers 1, 4, 6, 7. What are your opinions on future of blockchain gaming? If You have some games you've already tried, share your experience.
I'd like to add to list of things something new to look at, maybe even invest, as i strongly believe, that blockchain gaming possibilities are almost limitless.

Hello, nice compilation!

I personally think, that this crypto sector will only grow, because these games are more transparent then classical ones.

Moreover it can transform quite boring stuff into interactive project, here is a good example of it: Crypto Treasures of Mann O'Taur
The idea here is to connect comics art with the blockchain, what adds interactivity!

One of the sector that has benefitted greatly from the computer age and technological advancement is the gaming industry. With the discovery of blockchain, a lot of games will move to the platform.

There was a bunch of icos that created an idea to create a casino that fully decentralized by i never heard even an update from them all. Let me tell you about some kind of icos just like betking, bitdice, and many more.
Many of them disappear from the market without any reason. This idea still can't meet our expectation.
