Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!

There will be no end to this, that people keep on comparing BTC and ETH, just like when they saw the market movement. For example in the past few days, XRP replacing ETH to be no 2 in marketcap. Many people comparing it and saying about which one will be the winner. I think there is no need to do such things like that, just have too analyze the market, so we could makes profit out of it. Comparing those things will only wasting our energy.

I agree with you mate but people always give priority to those who are trending. Reputation matters in trading as investors always focus on top coins because it will never let them down so easily.

I think it's a futile act and there is no benefit if you have to compare Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both have a reputation and also very high popularity in cryptocurrency, so there is nothing to debate. It will only waste time and energy, without results.

This is true. Bitcoin and ethereum has differences. They have different purposes. And with this we can have the opportunity not to compare both because both has a unique characteristics. Bitcoin is far fram other altcoins and so as to ethereum. We people must know that there are difference, but comparing the two is useless.

at the moment the ETH price is less the same as the BTC price, the BTC price is still the highest, I have never compared the ETH price and the BTC price, I will always choose BTC as an investment

I think they'll both be dominant in the crypto space for a long time. They both have competition, but they're both the first movers in their particular niche.

People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?

I think there is no need to do such comparison, both BTC and ETH has their separate fundamental features, BTC is purely a payment blockchain while ETH has both payment capability and smart contract features. They are both unique with their blockchains. Thanks

To compare bitcoin and Etherium certainly not wrong, I'm not going to tell you what a cryptocurrency is better or worse, these cryptocurrencies have absolutely different goals and objectives. They develop only together and not hinder each other's development.

We can't blame people who are comparing eth to btc.. They just want to express their own ideas on both coin.. Bitcoin is the king of crypto, it will be a long way to cross before btc will fall to #2

Sad true, they are just investing and waiting for the profits then compare who's good and who's worse in terms of profits, I seen that many people still engage to that and not reading any informations with regarding to future developments and proper venue of usage, if only investors pay attention to
that there's no comparison that's needed but a support to whom project they seen potentials for future success.

It would be better if I just kept quiet and saw TV, rather than having to talk about Bitcoin and also Ethereum, which is clear that Bitcoin as the king of cryptocurrency and vice king is ethereum (ETH). Silence will be better like gold.

The forum is meant for discussions and analysis of bitcoin and altcoin, it is only natural that people will talk about  what is important to them about cryptocurrency and  how they see their favourite coin. Nothing is bad in comparing ether and bitcoin.

It's normal for them to compare, when you want to invest in crypto then you will do research and compare the coin to see which one got the more potential to grow, but if you want to compare the usage then there is nothing to compare because both of them serve a different purpose

This is what I have been saying people are always comparing the two coins when they are obviously two very different coins with two very different projects. I will never understand the need for people to pit things against one another instead of them to just support both of the coins. We are all in a bear marekt and this is not the time to try pitting coins against each other, this is the time for us to support the coins.

I don't think that it is such a bad thing to compare these two coins, and any other coins. I know that people like to make these comparisons, just to make certain judgement on them, and there is literally no harm in that. While bitcoin might be such a great coin, it is okay to compare it with other coins just to see how well they are doing different, and make other theories.

As long as bitcoin and ethereum exist there are going to be people that are going to compare them, while I agree that there are many differences between the two coins to make a direct comparison at the same time people are always going to compare them because there are many members in the forum that think that ethereum is a better coin and deserves to take bitcoin spot.
