Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!

I think that almost all of the altcoins have made some comparison with Bitcoin in able for them to gain attraction from investors since Bitcoin is one of popular cryptocurrency nowadays. IMHO the comparison of different coins is just for the market competition.

In terms of basic usage i personally think ETH have more usage among the community than Bitcoin There are hundreds if not thousands of project on the ethereum platform and everyday new ones keep making their way to the project  They have great impact in the community already and most people either started with either BTC OR ETH

I agree with you, comparing BTC and ETH should indeed stop as it's not worth the attention given. BTC is way too valuable than ETH, but that doesn't mean ETH isn't valuable either, it's just that BTC have more investors who trust in its underlying potentials and worth.

Although these two coins are for now not equals, but there are occasions you might seriously need ETH, that btc will not be useful and vice versa.

I agree , for me it is also unclear why these 2 coins are compared , because they are very different , and clearly bitcoin looks stronger in the market , because it is the first coin

This is basically a place wherein people can state what ever they want to be, as long as it is pertaining to altcoin and other stuffs related to it. If it is their way to hype up ETH in place, then that is a good way, because reaching out the name of the best and marking it as equal in the eyes of people can market them and maybe ETH might took over bitcoin? Who knows.

Sorry friend you are a BTC supporter and lover. But in face it is a shit to compare a coin with any other coin. Since a coin has much different feature, goals, technology and team, how can a coin be compared with another one. Lets talk about bitcoin and ethereum. They have their independent platforms and are operating independently. Comparing a coin with another in terms of its price is also a stupid thing. Price of a coin maybe influenced by many factors. So in the competitive market, only good performers are able to make a stride.

I am for ETH. Transactions are very fast and I like it. Sometimes a BTC transaction may hang for hours.

I really dont have talk which one is better, just use both of them by your will. Eth and btc are both good crypto currencies and the fact they have to increase in price great. Someone will fall and someone will rise. Anyways thats the cycle of money even not in crypto convertion might change for sure. As long as the 2 of them giving us life, dont make a judgment because nothing will happen if you do useless criticism

Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?

The reason it annoys me is that ETH and BTC have different use cases. They're not aiming for the same solution, they're complementary. The only real reason to compare them is because if ETH overtook BTC in marketcap and became the dominant coin, it would likely have some psychological effects on the market and on wider understanding of crypto. I think a lot of people outside crypto think that BTC=crypto, when crypto is actually far more than the starting coin. However good BTC is, there are other coins with other uses.

Everyone will definitely compare something with the others, same as when we compare Bitcoin with gold or with others, so when many people compare Btc with Eth in my opinion it is a natural thing to choose the best coins to invest or to trade, because we are traders and crypto investors here.

I think it's normal, actually not only ethereum but other altcoins also comparing with bitcoin. Bitcoin is become the most coin to compare because bitcoin have a big price for each coin and bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. Comparing is not a bad thing though.
