To my mind there is not something bad in this comparison because ETH is a leader among the altcoins and BTC is the leader at all, so they are worthy for this.

It's high because people already have a mindset of btc being the reserve cryptocurrency unlike any other currency, even Eth being#2 is already really good considering ethereum was released way after bitcoin first announced public. |

A good idea, because these projects definitely have nothing in common and therefore I would probably stop talking about the fact that these projects really need to be compared, just talk about them in a good way.

Yes, I think many people will compare these two coins again and again. In my personal opinion, both BTC and ETH are actually promising and profitable. They have different concepts. They also have positive and negative sides. What we can make sure is that they are trusted and very popular. But now, ETH is going very down than BTC. I think we should support those two promising coins, not to only comparing.

I always read about bitcoin to ethereum comparing for this two coins. Ofcourse they will pick bitcoin for much better than ethereum.Because bitcoin is most expensive, profitable and high quality coin.

I agree with you. It is foolish to compare these two cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is more like a means of accumulating finances. Ethereum is more flexible and more convenient for payments. Also, recall the smart contracts. |

For me, bitcoin and ethereum are two different things, though they come from the crypto world, but have different goals. That is why i do not compare either.

Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?
Yeah eth is eth, btc is btc. I am sure that both eth and BTc have their advantages and disadvantages. should not be compared with each other |

It makes no sense to compare cryptocurrencies. Each of them can make a profit, but it can also fall in price. Therefore, investors distribute investments in different currencies.
Comparison is not right way. People still comparing between ETH and Bitcoin. And not only these, they also compared XRP, EOS, ETC, BCH and many more. Comparing not a solution, it just give someone gets disappointed and someone get happy. So stop comparing with bitcoin and Ethereum. It will run its own way. |

Personally I can't compare these two coins because they are in my opinion in different weight categories. Ethereum is a good coin, but it is still far from Bitcoin, although its popularity is high.

I like today's posts of people started to think critically! This brings the rise closer! I don't see the point in comparison of two different projects. It's better to analyze a single one in order to understand if it's beneficial and how much it's worth investing in |

Maybe they are newbie's that's willing to know what is the best coin to buy and hold , so I think that's not a big issue because we are in the forum and everybody have all the rights to ask question . |

both are cryptocoins, but still very different and you really should not compare them. bitcoin is more a currency or digital gold and ethereum is more like the gas for apps and tools on the blockchain.

ETH is not only a coin, it is a platform as well but it will never overtake BTC in price, but long term ETH can have higher
market value than BTC. It will not happen this year as BTC is dominating over ETH and other altcoins and they are losing
their market share against BTC.

Most of people are comparing it based on market capitalization-wise anyway. However comparing these two doesn't make a harm so why not? sometimes people just came up with weird idea that we seem to think as not acceptable but actually it's just how human brain works |
