Most miners are still using the default vote of 512, if they were voting higher we would see much higher block rewards.

HVC not a lost cause at all, its just getting started. This coin is a GPU miners dream, It is the best contender when scrypt-asic take over scrypt.

It's voting feature is one-of-a-kind and as such people need to be informed about its purpose. Even if we cant get people to change their vote before the end of the mint phase, they will have to actually change their vote for the limit phase. This coin will get extremely interesting at that point. But I don't see any reason the community can't get miners to pay more attention to the votes.

so..mint phase would end with this tempo in 2 months + limt 56 days = 4 months

85 days is not 2 months.
and in last sustain stage that could last decades and there can be more to mine than bitcoins.

Yes ..by why would gpy miners went to mine something that is 90% mine in 5 months and 10% left to mine for 20 years? You all know that ASIC for script is giant oportunitu to some other coin rise becaues army of gpy miners would have to move but with this inflation it will miss it...but i still thing price will rise because now is still cheap.

by yours logical sequence all coins just worth start mine early and dump and move on next,  no point to develop any coin.. by same logic BTC miners who buys ASIC already missed gain mney from BTC, they on wron rail...
eh...
they not gonna miss nothing is this coin gains value.
anyway there is individual choise what u do with this coin, MINE - BUY ir HATE and DUMP.. time gonna show who was winner haters, trolls and instadumper or who was mining and holding and their who was buying.

disc. im mining, buying and holdingfor the future
you just understand off what i talk..and did not sold one single HVC ..just inflation is ridilous and that will hurt the price and in long run after 4-5 months some other gpy coin will have much bigger network ..no one will want to mine coin that is 90% mined in such short time.

Any idea when HVC price stops dropping, maybe when BTC recovers?  Gpools, are you still holding like a boss? :-) Cause once you start dumping we'll be all doomed.

he cannot dump there's not enough liquidity on any exchange even for a third of his holdings, he's a bagholder.
when trading never get yourself in a situation with no way out.

btc is about to drop another 30% next week (china ban on 15th, coinciding with ema death cross on weekly charts). could be even 50% over next two months

So is it already more or less certain that BTC will be banned in China?

pboc (chinese central bank) is closing a loophole exchanges have been exploiting for a few months. chinese have been desperately trying to pump the whole last week in preparation for dumps (to fill the orderbooks)

So if I plan to buy BTC in next days, I rather wait for 15th to see what happens, right? Smiley I though that 330EUR/BTC is good price although I bought some Satoshis also for 315EUR last week.

Where can I get the cgminer 4.1 ? I am currently using 3.7.3 and I think I have extracted the maximum from my 7850 which seems to be stable at 10MH/s or so ?

Hi SimkoMiner

I think I could update you with what is happening in China.

Chinese gov is not going to ban bitcoin, for sure. Chinese gov had already claimed their attitude, people can trade bitcoin as they will, but gov will not give any support.

The only action taken by now is to forbid 3rd online finance service company supporting cryptocoins trading website for cash deposit or withdraw. Of cause, all Chinese website have their own way to work this around.

This time, a rumor says on 4/15, Chinese gov is going to close all websites' banking accounts from all banks in China. Chinese people are now arguing for the truth of this rumor, many take this as ban of Bitcoin.

That's the exact situation in China now.

cgminer 4.1 is not versioned v4.1, but cgminer release on 4/1 with version 3.7.3

to confirm you are using the latest one, you could download from

Just got us a big Social push on Twitter (we both did eachother a favor) and maybe even a possible collaboration in the future we still need to wrap up this Thunderclap though. I may sound like a broken record but this is for Heavycoin as a whole my brothers and sisters!

not to mention https://blockchain.info/charts/n-orphaned-blocks
this is a very bad sign, orphaned blocks could be a sign of incoming fork which would seriously damage bitcoin, dropping price to double or even single digits.

Thanks GRV for your comments. As I am still newbie, can you please explain me in human language why those orphan BTC blocks are very bad sign? How should I decode this sign?
