I am trying to figure out if I can on the "right" chain. My block count matches http://explorer.fluttercoin.us/ but diff doesn't match. And my friend has a way higher block count and diff. His diff is closer to http://flt.bitember.com. What is right? Should I stop solo mining till this is figured out? I am finding a lot of blocks. to check mine, when i hit a block, i grab the transid, pop it into the explorer, if it's there, you know you are correct! At least for the official explorer. Who knows what's going to happen where when/if they decide to fix it...

I have a backup of the old files. Is http://explorer.fluttercoin.us/ on the right chain? I have 10FLT confirmed but their diff is different that what I get in debug getinfo. Also I have confirmed balance but staking says I don't have mature coins, confused.

Using ofeefee .conf file, I was finally able to reload my wallet all the way after it locking up 2 times. Current block the wallet shows is block 87489. Offical block crawler is on 86944. I have 79,000 FLT all orphaned PoS, wtf. Sorry to go off topic, but how many coins do you need to have 70000 POS reward? about 800k or so, that's real nice! My PoS is usually around 8-10% per stake. Can you please elaborate more? Let's say I have 300k If I stake I would earn ~30k a month? Thank you

Most likely because it is longer, but i'm not sure. I'm not taking anything for granted now, it's all just holding in my wallet, until a fix is in place, just trying different things to see if it's even possible to correct it. Not looking likely.

How do we know which is the correct nodes? Also my friend has had his wallet for awhile should he worry about it? I just installed mine today.

I removed the nodes and synced. Now I see the first block I mined and the FLT my friend sent me. This feels more like the right chain.
The diff matched for awhile and now its off again. I think I see what you mean.

If anything that forking shows the strenght of FLT. Any shitcoin would've been dead by now. FLT is here to stay. I heard kidcoin was really busy with work... yes, he has a dayjob. He didn't pre-mine any coins to get rich, unlike most other main devs.

Still no word from Thekidcoin other than the tweet he made about anonymous progress yesterday? We all appreciate the work on that but this fix needs to come like now. This is going on day 4 now of not being able to send coins to a exchange to trade and keep the volume moving for FLT. After he tweeted that yesterday I replied to the tweet telling him to come to the forums about the forking trouble so either he hasn't been on twitter since or he is just ignoring it? Other than twitter and on here / FLTforum there's really no other way of getting in contact with him. That's the bad thing about only one dev is when trouble like this happens, it would be nice to have someone else step in and fix the problem. If I knew how I would but that's way beyond anything I know. Do we even know if the official block explorer is on the right chain? Without confirmation from him, that could be on the wrong chain also and then everything we are doing would be pointless. I hope we hear something by the end of today.

Maybe he doesn't know how to fix this?, maybe his just little man like the rest of us? Don't you think he would already fix this after four days if he could? Ohh I almost forgot, he's not in this to make other people rich. Asperger syndrome: An autistic disorder most notable for the often great discrepancy between the intellectual and social abilities of those who have it. http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=9675I'm pretty sure I could find in the sourecode where to put a checkpoint, recompile and it would be fixed. I guarantee thekidcoin will have no issues making the changes. I expect that if he is finishing work on cloaking, that he will release one client and the fix. I expect also that he would say, he's not the only person, and the community has to help out some. Maybe I could check the source and see about it, but the problem with this is, I'm not the dev, don't want to the dev, and well someone who "owns" this will need to tell the pools we are using this chain which will invalidate much of the mining they did. I'm on the explorer chain, and I check daily to make sure my block height is equal, that's all I can do. We need to have a cooperative effort to get the pools on the right chain somehow so they can all start mining again, without them on the right chain, it makes matters so much worse.

When you keep your coin in fluttercoin-qt.exe wallet you have to wait 30 days for coins to mature right? Does the wallet/computer have to be online 24/7 for that to happen?
I got some coins in my wallet but the icon on the bottom either says, "Not staking because wallet is offline" or "Not staking because you dont have mature coins"
no need to have it open 24/7 until they are mature and ready to stake, then you have to leave it open until they stake. I normally open mine once a week so that it can sync up, lately mine is on 24/7, but this is to make sure it stays synced on the right chain, or hopefully continues to do so.

pruned some of the nodes that were no longer responding, clients shut down. And we got some new friends synced up. NOTE - do not use these if you are on the other chains, you will have issues with your client, as will these that you are connecting to. You need to delete all that is in your %appdata%\fluttercoin (except wallet.dat). Create fluttercoin.conf and start qt, I'm testing it from scratch at the moment, I synced earlier just looking for nodes, and got the wrong chain, yeah! BOO HISS! I modified this so I could solo mine to add some additional hashrate, and some block traffic...also I changed listen=0 so it doesn't accept outside connections while you sync. I just had an issue where I saw a bad chain in my peer list. monitoring it... connect=54.203.244.170 connect=54.203.244.27 connect=54.199.237.235 connect=98.220.203.77 connect=76.177.91.53 connect=71.61.60.138 connect=192.99.159.64 connect=209.124.227.24 connect=70.70.239.50 connect=107.170.172.93 connect=66.11.162.228 connect=192.3.177.246 connect=98.193.106.107 connect=69.59.38.87 connect=86.212.55.167 connect=173.192.30.91 connect=178.203.9.140 connect=213.214.63.127 connect=65.6.105.7 server=1 rpcuser=ofeefee rpcpassword=x listen=0 noirc=1 rpcallowip=192.168.1.* oh and it's not fluttercoin, but this wiki is nice, has descriptions of what different things do in your conf file. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin**confirmed** full sync without any other nodes jumping in to mess it up. After you do sync up- Change connect to addnode
- Change listen=0 to listen=1
It could cause your client to lock up if a bad peer connects, but if you aren't doing anything but letting it run, at least someone can connect to you to download. Can always kill it, change to connect=, listen=0 to do whatever, then switch it back on as needed. update - Tested sending 100 from bittrex to mintpal and Cryptsy. I received it at Cryptsy, nothing at mintpal yet. update - i checked my client at home, didn't have time this morning to check it. Using the config above is still keeping me in sync, solo mining is producing some blocks, which helps the network process blocks properly. update - test some from my wallet to three exchanges 19.99 -> wallet -> bittrex - confirmed 19.99 -> wallet -> cryptsy - confirmed 19.99 -> wallet -> mintpal - nothing yet There's 14MHs (update 17MHs now) on the network at the moment, I have about 2MHs hashing, heating it up in da house! If you are mining be wary that you do not produce over 50% of the hashrate or we risk forking the good chain into yet more chains Update - 6/24 11:38cst opened a ticket with Mintpal to ask they check their wallet, transids I sent, confirmed by official explorer.flutterchain.us my transids that were sent to mintpal bittrex -> mintpal -> 100.00 e2ed845b8ddda07830899e2a1f808227eafc633ee8c8557eaba7fc2c6d6e0556 wallet -> mintpal -> 19.99 42ce231b22b496e23de3c8423c5f893b6f62c41bf4be38eddecf8de17ea0af4d

That would be awesome if you can provide a fix but like you said, we need some kind of verification from Kid to make sure we are even on the right chain. I wish he would just do away with PoW all together and everyone would then have to use the multipool if they want to mine.
