It's nice to see the price increase, but it's not that important.  What's important is what have been done the last 2-3 weeks, and what's coming up.  Many one worked real hard for that - and it is nothing in regard of what we've to do to reach real mass adoption.  Proof-of-Transaction is our weapon, and community is our army.  We need much more dedicated work, much more people jumpin in, much more fresh ideas.

Buying Fluttercoin is a clever thing to do now.  We know it wont die as someone thought.  But please don't focus solely on price !  Proof-of-Transaction is powerful idea, at 100 or a 10 000 satoshis.

Don't enjoy the ride : be part of it !

Can we start a new thread on here instead?

A new thread will be started when the new client is ready for release and when we are ready to talk about plans for the future.

I always found FLT very interesting but unfortunately the price just falls. Are there any plans to draw more attention to FLT and how do you do that?
kind regards

Plans are being brainstormed by the community, at the moment.

For BTC 0.10 I can setup a block explorer with rich list that detects PoT blocks in a clean overview.
Just like PoB with Slimcoin. Example : http://blockexperts.com/slm

PM me if you are interested.

How would you show pot, pow+pot?  I'm interested, we pay in flt, .10btc in flt, sounds good?  Will get feedback from teamflt

I will show PoW and PoT next to each-other, 0.10BTC in FLT is fine.
Do you want me to setup the explorer ?

Yes, please proceed, we are using https://github.com/ofeefee/fluttercoin for the new build, our current explorer updated to this last night, and many of teamFLT are running it for their personal wallets to test everything out.  Code is a direct fork from thekidcoin, with minimal changes, new checkpoint/alert keys.

Use the following for syncing up.  network is still a bit flaky because of all the previous forks.  If it doesn't sync up to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/, sync with connect instead of addnode, and change it back after sync.

I could have forced the new client not to talk to the old clients, but trying to make this as friendly as possible on the network.  So we have to do a little more work.

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
noirc=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
server=1
seednode=54.84.46.196
seednode=87.98.188.77
seednode=54.215.241.255
seednode=50.147.45.28
addnode=54.84.46.196
addnode=87.98.188.77
addnode=54.215.241.255
addnode=50.147.45.28

We are now syncing with the option "connect", it's a little bit slower but it's syncing.
Using the option "addnode" resulted in a 400 +/- block difference with the last block found.

We will have the block explorer online by tomorrow.

Block Explorer is online http://blockexperts.com/flt

Rich list and address explorer is updated every 3 hours.

Can you send the FLT to : FLV9zB9sULJJAfjb9BP89cC6oygHZDq47G

Thank you everybody who has continued to support this coin! The concept behind this coin is too great to allow it to go to waste.

Still fighting a silent war, so I cannot be a part of FLT - but you can blame fernand0x for all of this - for threats against me etc. and ultimately my quiting.  He cost me and a few others a great deal of money (near 30K).  But its water under the bridge.  Lesson learned.  Crypto is a fools game if you can't afford to lose.

This is what I posted to this clown in reponse to his QTM hidden block nonsense in  thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=593438.msg7680715#msg7680715

My reponse:

Quote
1) there is/was no hidden block
2) there can only be 1000 blocks @ 10K each - hence 10 million coins, hence any "hidden block" would be nullified as again - there can only be 1000 mined blocks PoW
3) main.h is correct - 10,000,000 * COIN is the max money
4) your taling about things that you don't understand - util.h is telling us the value for display of the coin - hence instead of doing something like 100 * 1000000 to convert an int64 as 100 instead you multiply 100 * COIN (which has a value of 1000000) hence max QTM IS SUPPOSED TO BE 10000000000000 expressed as int64 DUMBASS

You started all this BS based on stupidity and non-understanding of the code - you actually had them abandon QTM and move to QTM2???

Also you are reading the transactions wrong and you don't understand how POS transactions are formatted, and you obviously have no idea how to read as the block you are saying had 10,010,000 QTM in it has 10K in it an likely a test of 10 QTM while I was mining it.

WTF would be the point of mining all these coins? The market could never sustain it.

And finally - if one runs getinfo in the old QTM client - there is LESS THAN 10 million coins because of transaction fees that needed to be paid to ensure large transactions I sent to the QTM team were not delayed - I had many issues with this client and blew the original wallet up and likely lost a modest ammount of coins in the process (thousands)

This though speaks volumes as to the QTM team if you guys didn't see this was incorrect what this guy was saying.

DO NOT make accusations based on stupidy - PLEASE.

You are likely the cause of the FLT threats etc sent to me so likely you are also responsible for me quiting FLT.

Job well done Sherlock!

Hello, thekidcoin. Just wanted to say thank you for Fluttercoin. The community will make sure this coin will continue to be kept in good hands. Thank you also for facilitating the domain transfer. Wish you the best of luck in life.

We have no problems with you, or anyone for that matter. Problems belong to QTM, and there's a thread for that.

Further discussions about QTM should not be made here, please. We're all about Fluttercoin here! Smiley

People are asking for a new thread: all in due time, as I've said before. Anyone who enters this thread can see that Team FLT is developing ideas, software and contacting many people to make sure this coin keeps running. We want to make sure we do a quality job, and such job takes time. We are trying to fine tune this coin the best we can, so we can give it a new face. Whenever we think we have met our objectives, a new thread, along with other means of presentation, will appear.

And as soltantgris said: this coin is all about an idea (just like Bitcoin). Ideas make history. Price fluctuates. Ideas and effort are always worth the same. Price can be 1 or 100000 satoshi.

The server and wallet are online, but the login gateway is offline. This is due to the recent changing of hands of the fluttercoin website. Im working with the android/web wallet developer to get a gateway going again.
