I just can't get my wallet syncing any longer... Cleared %AppData% for full resync but that got me stuck even further in time :s Tried it a few times too! Downloaded 94047 of (big number) blocks of transaction history - 35297 block(s) remaining (45 days ago). I can't figure it out 14 active connections to network too! More than bitcoin ;p Help ! Devvie twitter.com/devnullius 0.4.5.11 is ready for release. This build rolls up some bug fixes, GUI updates, syncs only with clients on 0.4.5.8+. It remains compatibility with previous releases but helps fix sync issues by only using newer clients that have proper checkpointing. Website will be updated soon, but it is available via https://github.com/ofeefee/fluttercoin/releasesAs with any release, backup your wallet, and back it up often. No need to resync, and you do not need a conf file with this release, I have tested numerous syncs from 0 without issue. If you have one it also works. --o what version are you running? Should be running 0.4.5.11, from www.fluttercoin.us/downloads. You can check your version in wallet, about -> fluttercoin in %appdata% delete everything but wallet.dat and start up fluttercoin. If you have already done this, let's try this... in %appdata% create fluttercoin.conf and use the following: listen=0 connect=54.215.241.255 connect=87.98.188.77 connect=54.84.46.196 connect=50.147.45.28 connect=162.243.194.203 after you sync, you can delete the fluttercoin.conf. I haven't tried in the last week, but when we were finalizing .11 I tested numerous syncs from 0 and they always sync up. Hope this helps!

i'm testing a sync from 0 on 0.4.5.11, no conf file, syncing up perfectly so far, into the 100k+. Checked the peers i'm connected to, they all look good, except for 3 or 4 that are on 0.4.5.7 clients, which is pre-TeamFLT client.

Another nice thing to have would be a feature that unlocks wallet "for staking only". Maybe in next update?

I think they are important, it's why I'm here in the first place, I started off mining. I don't have much gear except for a few gpus and a few asics and never spent the money to move into big asic boxes. I don't think changing algorithms really gets you anything, except extending gpu use or cpu use. I do like how Myriad does mining though, where it has different diffs for cpu, gpu, asic. PoW also provides blockchain movement. If PoS stalls, you have PoW, if PoW stalls you have PoS, it's a good relationship to be in. Look at TEKcoin recently. No PoS blocks have staked in two weeks because of a bug in the stake code and they are trying to resolve the issue. They have PoW so the network continues to function, without miners, the coin would be dead.

Will complete for .12 release.

Will complete for .12 release. .12 code is updated with changes to "unlock for staking", when you choose unlock wallet... it presents you with the passphrase, and a checkbox which defaults to "for staking only". I tested it and it works as expected. I noticed that there isn't a "lock wallet" in FLT, not sure we need this, but might be worthwhile to add it, just for completeness. EDIT: I added a lock wallet menu item to .12 code, testing these changes now

Thanks sir - it's a bit quiet on the boards (here and www.fluttercointalk.com) - mainly because we are focusing on a fresh new start for Fluttercoin. For the new OP - I agree with you, we need one, and hopefully, we should set it as soon as today. I can not be sure of it - but we work on it. The fun ride will follow. Promotions - new hiring - new development. We are 100% on our first target (repair what have to be repaired, control what was out of control, and build a solid team to support Fluttercoin's future). Now we will work on our next target : having new blood investing in Fluttercoin, and hopefully new blood to join us an take the lead on some projects. This step is an important one. Within the Skype group and TeamFLT, our general feeling is we must get FLT around 1000 satos before to aim at a massive merchands oriented campaign. For many reasons, but mostly because 1k is a kind of floor to work on - and it allow us to hire a lot of manpoker with the FLT fund (If I remember well, this fund is about 1.6M at this time, address is public, but we will soon ask for donations - we would like to be near 5M to allow us huge projects). PS: I would like to say that any TeamFLT project is community backed. So it's easy to follow the work being done. It's probably why some people bought yesterday 1+ FLTs. Usually, any massive buy support is within our group, not this time - and we think it's just a beginning. FLT have to fly be itself now Enjoy the ride, Lets rock this thing up !

New Thread here!!!! ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=752630.0 ). Also, a gentle reminder to please... please... make sure you have the newest wallet which can be found in the new thread. Going foward, all comments should be made in the new thread to avoid confusion. Also check out the new updated website.

As then you'd need three of the five chains to be controlled and manipulated to affect the PoW. AuxPoW with Litecoin for scrypt to keep the current miners happy. While two CPU based chains like auxPoW with Monero and Primecoin. Then two GPU biased chains like auxPoW with Feathercoin soon to hash NeoScrypt and Vertcoin which will soon hash Lyra2.
