Wish I could join in on the skype meetings but you always hold them while I'm at work.

If we ever get a new dev I think we should switch to POS/POT only. POW is causing issues and most people seem to like POS only coins better these days anyway. Obviously the staking time would need to be shortened a lot to keep the blockchain going. POT will also help keep the blockchain from grinding to a halt should there not be enough people staking.

This would also drive people who want to mine to the multipool which would in turn drive the price up.

Pot happens on the block generation,  it is not a separate thing, only thing that moves the chain is pow and pos.

I dumped all my flutters awhile back due to thekidcoin not really giving a shit, now that he is out of the picture and things may change, here are my suggestions:


1. remove PoW and keep PoT+PoS only just like a few people have said already.
2. lower the min stake age to a few hours, 30 days is ridiculous and achieves nothing but hoarding.. 30day mature time + PoT makes no sense - one encourages hoarding and the second spending.

Just these two changes will make the coin much more desirable than it currently is and I am sure there are more things to improve as well.

me too Mobile, i have a build with a  checkpoint at 95k, it's running on AWS.  I'm syncing a windows client to this one.  Both been in sync, this morning, they are off, thinking explorer got caught on the other chain, not sure how that happened though.  Checking a few things.

Edit:  my aws build is in sync with explorer, my windows box running native build is on the other chain...

Hmm. I wasn' solo mining at the time. I stopped about midnight PST. Maybe my mining it was helping it not fork. As soon as we can sync I will continue mining it.

I am in sync with http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ but looks like something happened when I synched as PoW stopped finding blocks according to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ when I synched and all of last 7 PoS blocks at time of writing have been found by me.
