I'd prefer not to have the power to add users to DT2 all by myself. I made a post about this a while ago, it showed which users would drop out of DT2 if this would be implemented. I think it would improve DT.

Well here is something interesting. I did not have to dig too deep but if I studied it further I would show several more members who quite simply should not be anywhere near DT regardless of who they have added to their trust and distrust list.

^ peloso (DT1) is adding random people to his trust list (DT2). Most of those people have left negative ratings toward Lauda and nullius.

He is also adding people to boost his positive score (UserCoin, Mad_Max, aliborn, GAMORA, sashapan) users who previously have given him positive ratings.

I mean, I've been making these points on multiple occasions long before I was DT1, but whatever fits your narrative. I also don't actually care whether or not I am on DT. I do care about thousands of newbies who don't know any better seeing "trusted" feedback from scammers and people gaming the system for their own benefit.

As Loyce says, my suggestions would decrease the power of DT1 members, not increase it. Why would you take issue with that?

Which is exactly why I have peloso in ~ for quite some time, and I do encourage everyone who thinks doing what he does is dubious to do the same...

I had to go back and check my exclusions list, and yep, I have ~peloso on there.  I also checked my PMs and he'd contacted me twice asking why I'd excluded him.

Sometimes I tend to think somebody is playing a big joke with this DT system.

Yeah, ya think?  I liked it a lot better before Theymos started this rotation process, and I'm not sure that change was for the better.  That isn't to say there weren't problems with the old system, but the way it is now can get very ridiculous very fast.

As for peloso what do you think is behind his mindset? Why is he so desperate to get to DT1?

~marlboroza is a better call due to his abuse of trust and flag system from much longer time than peloso was even around here.

To the best of my knowledge most of those exclusions except two are retaliatory (some even predate the DT1 lottery) so I'll call it "petulant children".

I believe anyone who uses the Trust system for retaliation shouldn't be anywhere near DT. It's such a childish thing to do.

There’s a bit of everything in the want of people to get on DT1.

Some people genuinely want to help keep the forum safe & do what the job says on the tin.

Some people like being rent a cops & using the power to make up for their micro dicks.

Some people think it’ll help them get accepted in higher paying sig campaigns.

Some people are pathetic & use it as a revenge tool & paint people red whom they don’t like.

Some people don’t even want to be on DT1 but due to their trustworthiness get included on it.

Some people use the power to scam.

I'm not.  That's your narrative.  

What I am concerned about is there is already a growing resentment concerning DT1's who wrecklessly post vitriol all the while earning payments from Signature Campaigns that pay thirty times over their nearest rivals.  If the number of DT1's is whittled down (and those same DT1's are still on earning crypto for their quasi hate speech), then can you imagine the heightened level of claims and counter claims concerning their being paid to hate>?

(All the while seemingly picking off anyone they don't like/trust (i.e. Peloso) preventing anyone else from getting into those SigCamp's).

Sure you are right, the old system had flaws because some people that were on DT1 should never have been there but with this current system it should be possible for DT1 users to take action to ensure those trying to abuse the system are added to their distrust lists.

Yeah I wouldn't bet money on that one getting excluded. The Turkish gang is stronger and has some loud apologists who can drown even blockchain proof in a torrent of feigned outrage.

However it's even less likely that theymos would blacklist the dipshit so there's that too.
