Usman vs. Masvidal negotiations are done and they all agreed to terms. Masvidal landed I Las Vegas, and Usman is on the road.
They will all have to pass covid19 test and be in quarantine while they wait for results.
If both tests are negative then they both fly to AbuDhabi.

Looks like we are near to have our main event 

I was expecting Masival to take on Usman for the main event but then the UFC was not willing to pay fighters in the 170 pound division and hence the title shot went to Burns because he was ready to accept any payment to be the main event and the title fight and now the plan of having a title fight and main event with a much lower price tag backfired for Dana and i hope we will see Masvidal and Usman for the title.

Yeah! What a lucky guy hahaha. Dan seems forced because he got no choice but to grant his demands or else the main event won't happen at all .

Besides I'm sure that Dana will breakeven in no time because the main event become more exciting than the original plan. He can expect this match will generate a lot of money for him. Thus, I'm glad he did the right choice.

Here I am again! been very busy lately because of many projects and work, and pretty much I am out a couple of weeks or so,

But about the turn of events between the UFC 251, Usman VS Burns turns to become Usman VS Masvidal instead the virus really is a true bummer, I think fighters should have a training regime inside the comfort of their home where they will be safe instead of traveling around getting infected, I know they need to go on a training camp or whatever but in this kind of new normal health is still more important than the fight in my opinion, 

But anyway Usman can be big trouble for Masvidal but the looks alone can be very deceiving and Jorge Masvidal can have an ace on his sleeve and I need to look further on their stats to confirm my final decision on putting my bet.

Finally street Jesus will be getting his title shot after 17 years in MMA and the numerous street fights he had in his initial days and it is crazy to think that he is still fighting at the elite level and it took a long time to get recognition and i am glad he is getting the shot and it would be great if he could win the fight. It is official, Dana White posted a promo video for the main event between jorge masvidal and kamaru usman in twitter, the fight might not go the full distance and i saw an interview from jorge masvidal that he was not training but rather keeping his fitness and he was not training for months which is not a good sign but we can expect him to finish the fight and jorge masvidal will not go down without a fight.

I have to assume that Masvidal will try to finish the fight as soon as possible because he took the fight in short notice and i doubt his physical condition to last 5 rounds during pandemic and lock down as there is no gym and he was not having any fights to prepare, the reason for street Jesus is he looks like one with his long hair and beard and he always talk about baptizing people in the cage . Wow! like I have said that is one good analysis I also like Masvidal style and I also think that if he would lose in this fight it really doesn't matter because his fans would say that Masvidal is unprepared with a sudden fight and he is truly bold to accept this one, and If he would really win this then that can be a good thing for him he might now get the title The Destroyer or a Legend killer as well for performing a great feat in defeating his opponent with sudden notice and in a fast pace if he could do it as fast like his fight with Askren.

I am wagging a bet for Masvidal because his striking is really awesome as he does have many setups to every opponent and it might be because of his vast experience and if you look at his career majority of the loss were really close fights and Usman does not even have the MMA experience Masvidal has if you compare his overall fight experience and the fight boils down to whether Usman is over his head taking this fight thinking it is an easy fight or is he taking it seriously and if he is taking this fight lightly then he will sleep just like Askren, just watch the fight and the setup he did for Askren, he was just talking in the cage before the fight as it was fun and he moved at an angle to get a response from Askren to level change and Askren was taking position to take Masvidal down when he got a flying knee and it is pure genius and if Usman makes the same mistake he will end up sleeping.

I liked the video, he enjoy his food, is it a big surprise as i do think that we live and do all these job to have good food and the rest of the luxury is just a bonus. Masvidal is a different animal as he used to participate in backyard brawls where there was no money and he was fighting for 17 years to get to a position where he could demand money from the UFC and if he could get that it is awesome for him and his family and he understand the value of prize fighting. We as a fan enjoys the 15 or 25 minutes they showcase but the amount of dedication and work they put behind for that 15 to 25 minutes is well above a normal human can think.

Jorge Masvidal is having a great time as Dana White was forced to bend to his demands and he is riding the best script in his career, when Burns was chosen as the next opponent for Usman i was thinking what the future holds for Masvidal but it is magically turned in his favor .

@7788bitcoin that is a great analysis for the main event, how about the rest of the fight card as all the title shots and the main event cards are tough ones to predict but i am picking Petr Yan, Rose Namajunas and Amanda Ribas but the main events i am not sure which one to pick as of yet.

The guy loves to eat and I hear that he's weighing like 190 rn.  Ugh.  I wonder if crypto bookies will lay odds for the under 3.5 rounds...  Anything close to even money should be good imo.

While we are counting days till next event, to support the discussion, I propose to speak a bit about Paulo Costa.
Cant want for his fight agains Adesanya. Comparing to Adesanya, Costa looks more like a heavyweight, while Adesanya is flash and bones.

Haha. Doesn't matter what you eat if you get the job done. Masvidal doesn't seem like an unfit or unhealthy dude to me. I'm glad he stepped up for this fight and got a deal done. I didn't think it would happen. I can't really say who is my personal favourite to win this fight. Bookies have Masvidal as the underdog but I think it will be a lot closer. Not sure I'd put money on him but there's a lot of value there. Hopefully whatever is going on with McGregor can get sorted to as I don't want to see him fully retired (not that I believe it anyway).

Taking the bout at the last minute could be somewhat good for Masvidal.  He got only one guy in mind.  Usman.  While Usman was training for Burns for most of his camp.  Could be interesting...  I already got some action on the under 4.5 rounds at 1.61.  Kinda steep but it's a winner.

I just saw an article earlier with Masvidal "eating" some pizza before heading to Abu Dhabi. I don't know if he actually ate it or they just made it appear that way. Something tells me that it's just a strategy to taunt Usman even more as if he doesn't need to be fit for the fight. In a previous interview, Masvidal said he doesn't need a training camp to beat bum fighters like Usman. He seems pretty good at playing mind games.
