Agree with disappointment of the year. Both Adesanya and Costa were undefeted, Adesanya evades Costa for 2 years. Costa was so hyper for this fight and had lost so badly. He simply did not know what to do.

Shock of the year - retirement of Nurmagomedov.

Fight of the year - I liked Poirier vs Hooker fight.

^  Happy new year!  2021 is gonna be another great for the UFC for sure.  We got Holloway vs Kattar and McGregor vs Poirier main events for January.  Sad that Chimaev vs Edwards was cancelled.  Would've been nice to see that...  I'm still not sold on Chimaev.

McGregor VS Poirier I would love to see that please, the retirement of Khabib had really hit hard on me I don't know why but I am not getting excited about watching other fights than with his fights, but I think I am feeling enthusiastic again after some break and I think the upcoming fight between Poirier and McGregor with enlightening it again, Happy New Year Guys! and GOD Bless us all.

I saw a recent interview with Dana White and the reporter asked about this particular interview and what he is said is that the translation was not right and so is the reason you heard these sort of headlines. According to Dana White Khabib Nurmagomedov said the fight between McGregor and Poirier should be the number one contender and Dana White still hopes to make the Khabib McGregor rematch .

Dana White said that the interview Khabib did was in Russian and the translators messed up with the translation and they are having a serious meeting this month in UAE and the MMA promotion of Khabib will be airing in UFC fight pass and they already had a deal about that and we will see more talents getting signed with the UFC and the Russian fighters will use his platform as a stepping stone.

Yeah, people are just looking for the new Khabib or to drum up some rivalry between him and McGregor. McNugget's fights are always better when there's some beef between them.

I don't think McGregor VS Poirier will be that great. As much as I'd like to see him fight again this will probably be a disappointment. It would be an ok warm up fight for McGregor if he's for sure going to continue fighting on after it but if he's just going to bounce straight after he collects his pay check or 'retire' again then I don't really care.

Dont know which fight should no be missed except main fight of the evening. Dont know why bookies are in favor of Holloway, because they both seems identical on the paper.

Their weight difference is +/- 8kg. Wont it be too much to gain for Adesanya? Adesanya already gained a bit against Costa and it made him look funny What he will turn into in Light Heavy ?

Time goes fast and in no time we are going to watch Max Holloway fight again, and I have to say I miss UFC and MMA...watching so much European football meanwhile
I am looking early betting odds and Holloway is favorite to win, but I like all card as first even in 2021....give me anything to watch.

^  No idea...  But on days when he isn't cutting weight, Adesanya walks around with a good 200 lbs in him.  That's prolly his normai weight so it shouldn't really be a problem for him to move up. 

Adesanya started using the name of Jon Jones to get attention and he got that and till now he was teasing Jon Jones that he will move up and Jones was already calling him out for a long time and once Jones vacated the belt and announced that he will only fight again in the heavyweight division Adesanya decided to move up in weight  .

Everyone wants a peace of McGregor pie (fame).

It makes me smile every time I see Dana White promoting his Howler Head (a bourbon whiskey) in his instagram. It took him two years to realize how profitable alcohol market is. During McGregor vs Porier 2 fight, will he ban Conor for promoting his Proper Twelve or there will be two bottles on the table during press conference?

If you look at the career of Khabib Nurmagomedov he never had a rematch in his entire career because he wins in dominant fashion and hence there is no question about a rematch but considering the hype and the amount of money the UFC could make i am sure Dana White will always try to persuade that rematch but Khabib is clear about his proposal as he will return only to fight GSP.

I don't think McGregor VS Poirier will be that great. As much as I'd like to see him fight again this will probably be a disappointment. Well after seeing the last fight with McGregor I think Poirier needs to do heavy Grappling as Khabib did or by out striking McGregor which is very hard to do in my opinion, Poirier will definitely going to have a hard time with Connor McGregor indeed, an unlikely Poirier needs to double his wits in winning against McGregor,

But the one fight that I surely want to watch is a match with Israel Adesanya that will expect to move on a higher weight class to challenge Jan Błachowicz, I don't know what may happen but I think after beating Costa it is great to up the notch of possible domination on another weight division.

The lead up to the McGregor vs. Poirier 2 isn't as exciting as the first one. Both men grew - became somewhat mature - and had more respect for each other. In the first fight, Conor definitely won the mind games which he is quite known for. It will be different this time around but I still think he's more superior in striking and he's grown in other areas too. Dustin improved a lot as well, I just don't know if it's enough.
