Here are my picks and prediction for the fight today,

Alexander Volkanovski VS Yair Rodriguez

The stake odds for this fight are 1.28 for Volkanovski and 4.10 for Rodriguez, for this fight, Alexander Volkanovski surely will be very technical in this fight, and by all means, he needs to be careful in making mistakes but for me, I got high hopes in his boxing for sure, he just needs to take care of unexpected kicks from Yair Rodriguez and when it comes to wrestling for sure Alexander Volkonovski is one genius on defense as he showcases it against Islam Makhachev, for me, Yair also got a chance in winning when his kicks connected in the unexpected situation, I think this is going to be a banger I don't see that this is going to be onesided, and I got a bad feeling on this fight but for me on paper Volkonovski will win this so my pick is for Alexander Volkanovski,

Brandon Moreno VS Alexandre Pantoja

The stake odds for this fight are 1.50 for Moreno and 2.85 for Pantoja, this is going to be another banger but this going to be a back-and-forth fight as we can see Alexandre Pantoja had a history over Brandon Moreno and Pantoja already win 2 times against Moreno, but I have seen an interviewing Brandon Moreno that he isn't really that pressure going against Alexandre Pantoja, for this fight this is going to be a close match we can see a really entertaining fight like the Jiri Prochazka VS Glover Teixeira fight or the Alexander Volkanovski VS Islam Makhachev fight kind of entertaining, but I am going into the more focus Brandon Moreno,

Robert Whittaker VS Dricus Du Plessis

The stake odds for this fight are 1.28 for Whittaker and 4.20 for Du Plessis, Now this fight Dricus Du Plessis surely got power in his shots, and man it's going to go down to getting Robert Whittaker to be one shot by Du Plessis because Whittaker doesn't have a great chin but Robert Whittaker is way too fast for Dricus I think Whittaker will be very technical in this fight for sure we could surely see a banger and because of that many shots from Robert Whittaker and because of that strike output he can knockout Dricus Du Plessis, so my pick is for Robert Whitaker

Not to hi-jack UFC 290 but Jones vs. Miocic is official! They will headline UFC 295 on Nov. 11

That's fine.  I think it should be encouraged that regs itt post and share any interesting developments from the UFC.    And while it's def gonna be a decent match up, it's still not Ngannou vs Jones.    That would've been the MMA heavy weight match up for the ages.  If I were in the UFC brass, I'd offer Ngannou a one fight contract that's worth something Ngannou would find hard to refuse.  That fight needs to happen imho...  For the fans.

Edit:  Since everybody seems to be in the mood to post their tickets as of late, here's the potential win for my degen parlay.

I think Yair will be crowned the new champ today. I've been watching him for quite a while now and I've never seen anything like him before. He's unique in so many aspects that you simply cannot ignore him anymore and that's why I think he is destined to become champion. Also , once he starts to let those kicks out ...it's simply a nightmare to get hit 3 or 4 times in a row by him.

Alexander is great , ferocious and so many others but his box body will make him a target that Yair cannot miss with his kicks. I also don't get it why Alexander is favorite in this fight with odds being so unfair in my opinion.

Yep. Jones vs Miocic seems predictable already but it's not what people demand. Dana saw people are eager to see their fight during their PFL face-off. If arranged, we'll see them in the cage next year.

Meanwhile, Helwani said the fight between Fury and Ngannou will probably happen sooner than expected. They are making it happen which will be bigger than UFC 295 and if they really want to see which PPV will be availed more, they could schedule it on Nov 11 as well.

UFC 290 Bets and Prediction

Alexander Volkanovski (1.26) VS Yair Rodriguez (3.95)

Yair Rodriguez is a cool guy actually I really want the way he fights just like watching Anime and action movies with all the kicks but this is reality and Rodriguez is applying it smoothly with his fights, but the thing that I don't like about Yair Rodriguez is that style would surely cause a lot of mistakes and Volkanovski could capitalize on that and I can not trust his stamina those wild kicks and movement would likely require a lot of stamina I I often times seeing him catches his breath on his fights sometimes on the last rounds, and Alexander Volkanovski's fight IQ is amazing if you see his fight against Islam Makhachev that is superb even though he lost he showed that Makhachev can not bully him on the ground and that is outstanding,  



Brandon Moreno (1.47) VS Alexandre Pantoja (2.70)

This is going to be a revenge fight for Brandon Moreno back on their fight on May 19, 2018, and right now Brandon Moreno had said that he was very confident going to the fight, and for me this is going to be a banger of a fight a close fight for sure both of these guys are well-rounded for sure in terms of striking and the ground but for me, Brandon Moreno really has the heart and he will never back down to this for me I like Brandon Moreno even more so my pick is Brandon Moreno,



Robert Whittaker (1.26) VS Dricus Du Plessis (3.95)

Dricus Du Plessis has average boxing and he got strength with his striking he also got good grappling and ground game but for me, Robert Whittaker has superior in striking particularly boxing with a mix of kicks and when it comes to his fight IQ he has superb in that part, and good takedown defense, I don't know what to say but I see Robert Whittaker just like Alexander Volkanovski, and what can I say they both appear as our favorite wrestler as Stone Cold Steve Austin for Volk and The Hulk Hogan for Whittaker, for sure I think that Robert Whittaker could win this for sure so my pick will be Robert Whittaker,

I really don't want to see Stipe Miocic gets eaten by Jone Jones and just like what you say for sure it is a good watch to see Jon Jones VS Francis Ngannou but that fight is pretty much blurred to be seen but for me if not Stipe Miocic I want to see Jon Jones fights Sergei Pavlovich that is a much greater fight to watch or Jailton Almeida even though he is just on top 9th on the ranking I really think that these two fighters are the only one that could solely hit Jon Jones with fear in losing before he leaves the UFC on retirement,

For me the odds are not unfair, Alexander Volkanovski is the champion so it is normal that he is the favorite here, and for me even though he lost to Islam Makhachev he showed a great performance back there but I surely agree with you Yair Rodriguez is a unique fighter and I really love his style the kicks was great because I was once trained in Taekwondo so yeah those kicks was superb for me while seeing it being executed by him but for sure I would want to be on the safest bet and don't really want to risk it so I have gone with Volkanovski,

The fight we have discussed less here turned to be most interesting. Moreno vs Pantoja. Me, like many, though that current champ would win. But Moreno and Pantoja have already met and Pantoja won twice. This time Pantoja fairly won again, by split decision. Its is 3-0 between them already. And it seems to be they gonna meet again (due to split). This is gonna be fourth fight. Also Moreno fought 4 times with Figueiredo. Flyweight is so full if huge fight series… Top5 of flyweight fighters pause whole division, until they stop fighting between each other only.

As to Whittaker fight - it was somehow expected. Robert is on way to retirement. This is example what Khabib once told - fighter can be in peak form once. Robert was in best form already, had belt. Now his career is close to going down.

It was a really close fight and i need to watch the fight once more because i was upset after the Rob Whittaker loss but one of the judge was way off in scoring the fight and it is time that they start appointing judges who have the knowledge about the sport.

I was expecting Rob Whittaker to win the fight but the size difference was obvious as Dricus Du Plessis was able to overpower him on the ground and was able to control him whenever the fight goes to the ground but against Adesanya it will be really interesting as Adesanya is a great striker and would controls the distance really well.

Pantoja show us an awesome fight, I was having a feeling about Moreno failing in that fight, and that's why I place a small $20 bet on Pantoja to win x2.7, and it was an awesome fight, I feel like Moreno has a trauma about his past lost with Pantoja and that's why he fights with fear.

But in general was a bad day for the Mexican Fighters, all of them did a terrible job, specially Yair Rodriguez, I was having some good expectations about him, I was thinking he would fight the same way that he did against Emmet, but I was wrong, and that mistake cost me 0.5LTC, not a big deal, but I'm disappointed.

Alexander Volkanovski (1.26) VS Yair Rodriguez (3.95) - WIN

Alexander Volkanovski has proven that he is the real deal and the number 1 Featherweight in this fight he really did a masterful class performance in this fight, in the 1st round in preparation for Yair Rodriguez's kicks he was switching from orthodox to southpaw, continuously this will surely mess Rodriguez momentum with his kicks his preparation and with that he capitalized with it to disrupts Rodriguez kicks, and we can see Volkanovski's strength when he takedown Rodriguez and controls him to the ground, and when Rodriguez is going with a triangle choke Volkanovski is one step ahead of Rodriguez he even defended it knowing Rodriguez every move, and so Volkanovski finishes him to the ground, a truly masterful class performance indeed,



Brandon Moreno (1.47) VS Alexandre Pantoja (2.70) - LOST

Just like I have said this is going to be a close fight for sure Brandon Moreno is great but it was not like in their 1st match Pantoja was really giving it to Moreno but in this fight Brandon Moreno making the fight a close one for me Moreno really improve but again the fight was close and there is a certain controversy about who really win but for me, Alexandre Pantoja won because of the judges it was a split decision for me it should be a draw because both fighters have shown their craft, but Moreno got to crack on the 1st round his chin is giving up on him now and he can feel it but still it was a close match for sure,



Robert Whittaker (1.26) VS Dricus Du Plessis (3.95) - LOST

Dricus Du Plessis has done his homework and he is studying Robert Whittaker, in what to land and when he will punch him, I really think Jared Cannonier has exposed Whittaker on that straight right but Du Plessis just execute it with Finesse it is much more effective while he is executing it, and we can see that Du Plessis power with his striking that rocks Whittaker, and even though Whittaker has the fight IQ he needs Du Plessis is doing his homework and executing it in full detail,

Looks like we got the same result lol I only got Volkanovski right. Very hard to predict which fighter is going to win these days. Even the bookie thought DDP will lose the fight but just look at how it ends. Moreno who I think will dominate as well gets tagged many times.

I think it would have been worth going all-in for Nickal despite the small percentage of win amount. Seem like the bookie had assured to meet the expectation.

Alexander Volkanovski VS Yair Rodriguez ROUND 3 KO/TKO - WIN

Alexander Volkanovski has managed to stop Yair Rodriguez's kicks by switching his stance, it was crazy with simple switching Rodriguez now has a hard time making his kicks, which was in the 1st round, and Volkhave gave Rodriguez a hard time with his striking, but on the 3rd round those kicks really were getting the Volk a hard time in defending those he was always getting caught by it until that right hook landed because, on the 3rd round, Volkanovski is actually memorizing Rodriguez rhythm and combination and that was the time that right hook landed then it became a takedown the strength of Volkanovski then those ground and pound to finish the Mexican fighter on his tracks,

Brandon Moreno VS Alexandre Pantoja ROUND 5 DECISION - LOST

I was really surprised I really thought that Brandon Moreno have won the fight, it was really a close match but Alexandre Pantoja really is a hard-to-beat fighter for sure and we can surely see it in these two fighters' past fights Brandon Moreno really is having a hard time with Pantoja, but in this fight, it was really a close match that we can not see who really won the fight, but it was a very controversial fight that is what I got to say but for me, Brandon Moreno should have won,

Robert Whittaker VS Dricus Du Plessis ROUND 2 KO/TKO - LOST

Now in this fight, I really never expected Robert Whittaker to be defeated like this and Dricus Du Plessis really did his research very well against Whittaker and because of Dricus Du Plessis's power on his strikes it is easy for him to knockout Whittaker surely this is a great performance from Du Plessis was really great and the thing is his next opponent is Israel Adesanya this is going to be great a new fight for Izzy is going to be phenomenal,

This was a great fight card with lots of KO wins and only four decision wins!
Volkanovski is back on top for featherweight category but now he needs to do the same thing in lightweight category with Islam Makhachev rematch.
I would really want to see if he can perform better and beat Makhachev, but this is not going to be easy to do with guy who is like Khabib 2
Biggest surprise for me in this card was Alexandre Pantoja winning against Brandon Moreno, but it was only a split decision thanks to refs again.

Was not surprised that Pantoja would win. He is like a cryptonite fo Superman, like Pereira for Izzy 
Now I think Pantoja would defende his belt against Kratos, and then would probably face Moreno again. And only then, Moreno would win.

Btw guys, what do you think about series of 3-4 fights between one and the same fighters? Does it makes division boring or pause for others. Is it ok, as other fighters level aint that good as those who have series.

Rodriguez was never able to find an approach to Volkanovski, despite the advantage in height, he just tried to get Volkanovski, but instead he ran into a series of blows, after rapprochement. Actually Rodriguez noticeably fizzled out in the second round. In the third round, the same mistakes and in close combat, Rodriguez missed a blow to the jaw and Volkanovski, in the usual manner, transferred Rodriguez to the floor and ended the fight with a series of blows. If evaluate the fight, then everything was under the complete control of Volkanovski, and in fact, Rodriguez had no chance.

What was that thing with Robbie Lawler? Did he retire? Or was it just a celebratuon of his 30th victory? I did not manage to watch all tha post fight thing. Saw a KO, repeat but then the tv channel was switches… It is about time for him to retire. 40+ already. Remember him when he had hair and ufc fighters got funny retro trunks
