I don't think any of us expecting such shock result. Barcelona can lose but 0 - 3 is a shock result. I don't feel any strange or surprise if Barcelona lose matches with their squad. They are becoming another Arsenal and I think Messi can feel happy now in PSG. He would have not been able to do anything now, if he had stayed in Barcelona.

Since the departure of Messi, Barca is a whole different team and it seems that all are full of stress and anxiety to prove that they can deliver without him. This needs time but Barca is a team that can't wait. Hopefully, they will correct soon one of their mistakes (hire another manager) and from there will have to find a way to unstress the team and realize that will need time to rebuild and forget Messi.

Yes,,, that guy is so good he just needs to be in the team and you can almost guarantee a goal, if not a lot of chances. The thing about him is he can convert even half chance to goals, and if you have suppliers like Pogba and Fernandes in the team as first choices,,, you just need to keep playing them. Problem is their defence I think, they cannot keep coming back every time.

The most surprising result for me was Chelsea's being defeated by Juventus with a 1-0 result. I was surprised because Chelsea performed really good in the first and second half both. But they couldn't manage to score out of 13 shots. And they had only one shot on target. This is not the Chelsea that I want to see. They should be better at scoring to win their CL matches.

Chelsea tried everything they could but still there was no goal from them. Juventus managed to score with Chiesa and Bernardeschi made the assist. To be honest, I can't say that it was a really deserved win for Juventus. Chelsea could have scored even a few goals but they were very bad at scoring. I started getting unease with Chelsea performance from the Aston villa match. Their first 45min has been lackluster. How can u be playing casual football in the opposition half with no sense of urgency to score. Totally unacceptable. I won't be watching their nonsense again till they start winning. How will you only think of utilizing the left flank when the right wing is free. Chelsea's major problem now is the lack of creativity in the final third of the pitch and sloppy, avoidable mistakes especially passing in midfield. Our Midfielders are lacking the drive to push forward and create panic amongst defenses. Thomas Tuchel has several problems to solve, now this is  the defeats in the space of less than a week.

That goals was an assist from lingard right? Lingard should be given more credit because he did brilliantly by just touching the ball back to Ronaldo then shifted from the way so Ronaldo can have the short.

Hate to admit this but Lingard has been so much better ever since Ronaldo is back on the team. He has scored some crucial goals and even made that pass back to Ronaldo. I gotta admit that it was somehow seems pretty lucky for United to had that moment and managed to score, It was also a very crucial 3 points to ensure that the team still has a decent chance to get to the next stage

They had all the chances to score but did not score, when you miss such chances you are giving your opponents an opportunity to comeback which Manchester united are expects at.

I think the problem is not just the lack of Messi. Barcelona, with time, started to settle for the victories and stopped evolving. Now it is in a new phase of restructuring, but it seems that things are still not going as expected.

I think Barcelona was one of the teams most that were most affected by the impact of the Covid pandemic. They already were in financial trouble before and the lack of income through ticket sales seemed to have completely broke the camels back there in financial regards. Now they had to let Messi go (Messi is also the reason for this financial trouble though as he got 500M+€ in just for years, which is just ridiculous) and now they are playing with a lot of very young players. So it is no wonder, that Barcelona can not keep up with the good european teams at the moment and i also think that i will take a long time to reach the old level again.

They should solve the current problems as soon as possible indeed. They really struggle to score for two matches. But they were not this bad at offense before the match against Manchester City. Something interesting is going on with them. We saw Lukaku in the starting eleven also and he was their biggest chance to score. But even he didn't score too.

What's really happening in LA liga?? Most Spanish teams have failed to perform in the champions league....Atletico Madrid had to dig deep to turn this around but now teams like Barca failing to even get a goal...who would have seen this coming?? If we continue on this path expect coaches to be sacked in the near future. Not a Barca fan but it's now worrying with the results these guys bring forth.

If that's the case then it's not surprising because Barcelona is currently in a critical period, but Barcelona itself is still quite safe in La Liga, only to compete in the UCL is a tough job. I'm not sure Barcelona will go further in the UCL this season and maybe will only get points against Kyiv which is a shame indeed, but Barcelona should focus more on La Liga to be able to still get a ticket to the UCL next season by improving its management.

In what world is Barcelona currently better than Atlectico? I've seen all of Barca's recent international games and if you know a little about it, it quickly becomes apparent that the team has fundamental problems. In particular, there is hardly any connection between midfield and attack. Dempay and de Jong are sometimes completely disconnected from the rest of the team. That is also the reason for the meager goal yield.
I don't even want to talk about the bad defense. Atletico are far better than Barcelona at the moment.

for a long time ^{since when did Tuchel come} Chelsea have been playing very well and almost without losing a game. once that series had to come to an end.
It's interesting to me, a few days ago, they play a very defensive game against Man. City and lost it. Today they play against the defensive team and lost this game. I personally don't like that tactic, but I can't say I'm not glad they lost today.

Chelsea has been very defensive these days. Offensively they have been very poor. Their performance against Man city was a poof that they have not even made more attacking threats. The creative players have been silent and have not been proving points for them. Kai Havertz and Mount are not really doing good presently since the arrival of Lukaku. I think Tuchel changed the team tactics and philosophy and it is really telling on the players offensively. No through balls and good passes in the final third. Tuchel should find a way and work on improving the creativity in the team. There is no point in keeeping a good defense and not scoring. I think they will bounce back sooner and till then let them win this weekend fixture against Southampton.

Poor performance by Barcelona. They are already at the bottom of the table. Though the stage matches are not done yet, but if they don't win the next match against Dynamo, they will be in great trouble. Ole is not a versatile coach. He is ready to stick to anything that shoes the sign of work for him. When he tried Tommy and Fred pair that seems that it worked for a few matches, when it wasn't working again it became difficult for him to revert.
If not for the pressure of fans, Sancho should be in the bench now became he doesn't figure out how he will fit. Yet, Sancho's role is yet to be defined by Ole. He played Pogba up front and got more than 5 assists in two matches, yet he doesn't figure out how to continue using him.

unfortunately you are out of luck ronaldo always surprises at the end of the game villarreal should be more aware of his presence for that ,but what I see is that he is very difficult to beat and the goal in the last minute amazed me his performance is still the same even though he is getting older

I expected Chelsea to win the game against Juventus last night. And they showed a huge effort also. But they were terrible when it comes to finishing. And it cost them 3 points. Because Juventus still scored somehow although their forwards were injured. And both of the players who were playing as forwards contributed to this goal. And you know Juventus after scoring first in tournaments like this. They are very good at keeping the score till the end. That was what happened in this game also.
