I can't believe that teams like Sheriff Tiraspol and Young Boys managed to get into Champions League, and they are going to easy pray for any normal European club in group stages.
If you can't beat teams like this at your home stadium, and if you lost away from home than you don't deserve to qualify to next stage.
Shakhtar Donetsk just scored goal in extra time and they are near of kicking off Monaco, or maybe it was a self kick with a own goal.

Well,,, Young Boys actually made it into group stages before so that is not such a shock for me plus, the Switzerland teams are also doing well at FIFA level. But like you said, they end up becoming easy prey for the big teams.

Cannot say they did not deserve it though because at this highest level if you cannot big Sheriff, you do not deserve to be in group stages.

For a club like Sheriff, even reaching the group stage is already a big victory. For reaching the group stage, decent prize money is already relying, which definitely motivates the teams very strongly. The sheriff is definitely the opening of the season for me, let's see what they will be capable of next, but I think that it will be much more difficult to play in the group.

Young Boys were more fortunate with their rivals, there weren't enough strong rivals in their way, such as Monaco. By the way, Shakhtar coped with Monaco, although the beginning of the match looked very difficult for them. Unambiguously Monaco looked stronger, attacked more, but this was not enough to win at Shakhtar. I told, that Shakhtar is a strong team and they always play to the end.

In group A and group E, I think you'll have a only few though games to look forward too, Bayern vs Barcelona, then PSG vs Man City... However, the most competitive game in my opinion would be group C and group F, where almost every match would be somewhat even, and it will be hard to predict teams that make it out of those group.

I like the fact there are a lot big teams facing each other in the group stage so there will always be a hyped fixture almost each game week.

In group A and group E, I think you'll have a only few though games to look forward too, Bayern vs Barcelona, then PSG vs Man City... However, the most competitive game in my opinion would be group C and group F, where almost every match would be somewhat even, and it will be hard to predict teams that make it out of those group.

In my opinion, the most equal group can be considered group G, here it is difficult for me to determine who can be the favorite and who the outsider. As for groups A and E, there is probably no doubt about who should get out of the group stage into the playoffs. It will be interesting to look at the confrontation between PSG and Man City, PSG looks intimidating this season. ) As for Barcelona and Bayern, I think Bayern is stronger than Barcelona right now.

As an Austrian and also a fan of Ajax, I have to say Salzburg and Ajax both got a good group, second place for promotion in the Champions League or third place for the Europa League is definitely possible, I personally like it and both teams were lucky with the draw.

I think the hardest groups are A and E and group B will also be very competitive. The group stage will definitely be exciting.

Group A looks so juicy and those matches between Manchester city and PSG will be like 2 finals already at start of the champions league. Plus if Cristiano Ronaldo joins City it will be again a great battle between Messi and Ronaldo

I think only group A will have a really tough competition because Leipzig is quite good too...

btw, I'm happy that Chelsea is in group H and only has Juventus as a formidable opponent.

I think that the toughest group is group B. Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Porto and Milan all are powerful teams. Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are the toughest ones of course And I'm expecting Liverpool to end the group stage at the 1st place. And Atletico Madrid shouldn't have much problem to end as the 2nd. It will be hard to decide the 3rd one. Milan are really strong and I think they can finish above Porto.

I don't see any of the groups stand out more even i see every team is in a fair place with major competitors and underdogs, also don't forget some teams from La Liga and Serie A are not as strong as last season that's why I said the team's position seems fair enough. If we talk about the chance of winning I predict they will come from group A, E or H the team in this group has a lot of potential.

A group - City - PSG will be hot, but Leipzig is also capable to fight.
B group - Probably most ballanced group. Liverpool and Atletico are favorites probably, but Miland and Porto is also powerful.
C group - 3 similar level teams and obvious underdog Besiktas
D group - almost same group like last year, just Gladbach replaced by Sheriff. I hope it will be same interesting like last season
E group - as Barca fan I fear of Bayern, but I think we are capable to beat Benfica and Dynamo at least.

Group B has really become a hell of a group this season, because the clubs in the group are almost all big teams from different competitions, in my opinion Group B will also be very hot and also worth waiting for because it brings together the champions of the  champions league season 2018/19 Liverpool, who won the Spanish League in the season2020/21  Atletico Madrid, and the runners-up in the Portuguese League for the season 2020/21 Porto and therunner-up italian league  last season  AC Milan.

Group A should be really fun for Manchester City and PSG. Actually, I was hoping to see them clashing this season again but this was not what I wanted.    I hoped to see them in the final stage or right before it. Leipzig shouldn't be underestimated of course. If I'm not wrong, PSG and them were in the same group in the last season also. But this time, PSG are even more powerful with Lionel Messi. Poor Club Brugge. They have near zero chance for even qualifying for the Europa League.

the group A

frankly City is in a very bad situation, I say this by leaving aside PSG who are strong, the other two teams are teams that for some strange reason have done well in the champions league at least in the group stage they can win City, I think City won't be able to move to another stage

What the hell was liverpool unlucky? most of the time that some team that is my favorite team plays against Porto and Atletico tends to my favorite team to lose the game

Sporting will have to show how strong they are to be able to pass in this group

Benfica was very unlucky

Manchester united definitely got lucky to be in that group with these teams

Of the Portuguese teams in the competition, it was the one that was in the worst group!
If you manage to finish third it will be great! But even that place will be hard to reach, you have to play really well. We'll see.
