You are right Football is a team game. PSG has enough star players. They have good enough players in defense, midfield, and forwards. But if they do not perform well as a team, they will not be able to win the Champions League. If the coach can do his job well then maybe PSG will be able to play well as a team.

We also had teams like Madrid won 3 in a row or Barcelona win 6 cups in a single season as well. Don't get me wrong I am not denying that there are situations where the big names could get together and not build the team they imagine and end up losing, that has happened before. However, there are also situations where big names get together and win everything as well, both of them are equally possible situations.

This is why I believe that we should not wait for them to fail but we should not expect them to constantly win neither, we should act as if it is another team until they start to show what type of team they will become. The good thing is I saw Messi play in PSG for just a small amount and the team basically knew how to play around him and how he plays, that is a very important thing because he is used to a style and if PSG can provide that style then he will be more efficient.

I think Manchester United needs a player tall, good passer of the ball and very good at winning tackles, capable of winning ariel duels.

from what I observed from the first game that messi made on PSG it seemed to me that he was studying the environment and the style of playing PSG, he was able to gradually do what he was doing in barcelona although the opponent didn't give Messi room to shine, he won't take Many games for Messi to become the center of attention on the field because currently he is the center of attention of people off the field (I'm talking about the media and fans), but he still hasn't become the center of attention on the field, to be that player when he caught the ball and coordinated everything and everyone, he was in every corner of the field and was the savior of the team in difficult times, he has not yet become that player at PSG and in the coming weeks he will become and will overshadow Mbappe and neymar

I'm sure Mauricio Pochettino knows what Messi's style of play is at PSG, of course this won't be a problem instead it will adjust where Messi should be placed on his front line.

Barcelona is no match for Bayern at this point if we're talking about the squad quality. It looks like an easy win for Bayern because it actually is. Barcelona has become a shadow of its former self. Even with the combination of Luiz Suarez, Messi and Greizman, they were still a subpar team compared to Bayern and now that all 3 prolific players are at a different team, the story hasn't changed. The only way I see this going badly for Bayern is if they lose their guard and allow Barcelona to outperform them enough to get a point or more from that fixture.

We know that Messi plays in his national team as well. So, it is not the first time he played outside Barcelona and with unfamiliar players or game styles. However, he needs time to show his best performance there, it is the same as Ronaldo ever experienced in Real Madrid. It is normal if a player still can't play with his performance in the first match on his new club. He is in the progress of adaptation.

The PSG team has 4 Argentine players. Messi will not have a problem with Di Maria and Icardi. On the other hand, Neymar's partnership with Messi is remarkable. Messi can easily adapt to Neymar. Ramos has played in La Liga for so long, maybe he was an enemy of Messi, but he is a professional athlete and they were playing almost the same strategy in La Liga. Messi can easily adapt to Ramos. Would agree with you. Barcelona really had a drain of good players this year. The debt load of over 1 billion Euro is very overwhelming. If this doesn't improve, they will have to sell even more players. They are now focusing mainly on very young players like Pedri, Ansu Fati and Ilaix Moriba from Barca Academy. But at the moment, the quality of the squad is not enough to compete against teams like Bayern.

Yes Barcelona has big economic problems right now and that was the reason why they let Messi go,they could not afford him anymore.Of course this has weaken the team a lot and against Bayern Munich it would take a miracle for Barcelona to win the game.Messi was the heart of the team by being the best midfield/attacker which kept the ball a lot therefore helping the team a lot.Now the true team which has the highest chances to win the Champions League this year is without a doubt PSG which has built a dream team really.

Besiktas v Dortmund will be one of the interesting matches of the first week I think. Of course, Dortmund are highly favoured in a match like this even though they are the away team. Haaland is the biggest threat for Besiktas. I think that Besiktas should be focusing on defending more than attacking first. Because Dortmund's attacking line is very deadly and they can end the game even with early goals. All Besiktas need to do is to keep being patient and take advantage of opportunities. Otherwise, they won't be able to prevent themselves from losing here easily.
