It's funny that both moneybags (Manchester City and PSG) fell into the same group. I understand that this is unrealistic, but I will hope that Leipzig and Bruges will leave Group A in the next round. I don't know yet what to think of Leipzig this season, still too early. They lost some very good players and it is not like they have world class players sitting all over the bench. But they are definitely a team that is very hard to beat at least in home games. When they perform well it won't be easy even for teams like City and PSG.

I am not so optimistic about Leipzig's capabilities in this Champions League. In Group A there is only one intrigue, who will come out from the first place PSG, or Manchester City. I think it's not worth talking about the rest, since the probability of this will be very low. Leipzig and Bruges were simply unlucky, for sure Leipzig will reach the Europa League, and Bruges will finish their performance in European competitions after the group stage.

I see UCL group B is a semi-final that happens too soon, haha. 4 strong teams are in one group, but what makes me a little doubtful is AC Milan. Group A is really awesome. I can't wait to see Manchester City vs PSG and PSG vs Manchester City games.    These are the biggest favourites for the Champions League title this season. PSG have Lionel Messi from now on. And Manchester City are really close to signing Cristiano Ronaldo. It will be great to see these two legends playing against each other again.

It won't happen because Ronaldo choose Manchester United, not Manchester City. I also expect group games to be exactly like "group games" because there are different tactics and strategy. Playing in semi final vs. playing in group games are very different. I think both teams will advance to next round but who will be the first and which teams will draw each other, it's all mind games and we will see how it goes after first five games. Sometimes you finish first in your group and you draw with stronger team in other group, these things can happen every year. This is still the best group and I'm very excited to watch City vs. PSG again at least two more times.

Yeah, I've heard about Ronaldo's choice. But the deal finished really fast for Manchester United. They just made an offer to Juventus and it was accepted right away. These things all happened in only 24 hours. I would really like to see a final game between Manchester Utd and PSG now. I'm OK for even seeing them clash before the final. I would really like to see Messi and Ronaldo playing against each other by both of them being at different clubs this time.

Barcelona will undoubtedly struggle this season in the champions league, but I don't think it will be tough enough for them to exit the champions league early, like in the group stages.

PSG would make a really great team in UCL, I'd say they're more stronger now, collectively... I'd even tip them to win the CL this season

Now he basically had to go to Paris in order to continue to play football on a high Level. As far as i know he does not speak french nor english so he definitely will have some problems to communicate at the beginning.

I had the same thought, but I think Leipzig will not play a role in the CL this year. Over the past 14 month they have lost a bunch of key players. First Timo Werner went to Chelsea, then their successful coach Nagelsmann and finally "chief of defensive" Ubamecano and central playmaker Sabitzer (all three went to Bayern). I think Leipzig will need one or two years to build a new good team that can surprise in the CL again.

The most exciting and balanced group in my opinion is group B with Atletico, Liverpool, Milan and Porto.

Even if he does not know English, which I doubt ... then his colossal playing experience will help him in following the coaching instructions. Ramos and Messi are now the most experienced players in the PSG team. If the two of them can adapt to the coach's strategy, then PSG will get their performance very well. They have both played in La Liga so far. La Liga's strategy is different from PSG's strategy. So they need time to adapt to the PSG team.
