What a great game Man U vs Atalanta! I certainly expected Manchester United to win this match, but for them to get out of such a losing situation nobody could have guessed! By the way this game reminded me of another match from the Europa League - Spartak vs Leicester... There was exactly the same situation... Yesterday the English showed their fighting spirit!

Of course Manchester United will only become better with the passing of time.This time is needed for Ronaldo to harmonize with the rest of the team,it is not yet completed but once it does it will become a symphony for football fans.When England teams play in their full capacity is only natural that they are better than Serie A teams,the Premier League is much more competitive than the Serie A right now.

Ronaldo can help Manchester United to go to the 1/16 or 1/8 round but he won't be able to carry Manchester United to the semi-final or final match in Champions League. Barcelona is not playing well, even Benfica was able to win Dynamo Kyiv flawlessly in a away match, Barcelona still find it difficult to score more than 1 in a home match, I am predicting Benfica may qualify but it can be in other way though. Benfica is still topping the table after Bayern

Ole is clear that is supported by the club's management for some unknown reason, which I can't understand. He can manage a team of this calibre, it's more than obvious and I totally agree that if they don't hire a new, more experienced manager, they will waste time and of course points everywhere.

Manchester United victory in the Champions League doesn't seem to have much of an impact on his future at Manchester United at this time, reportedly Manchester United is currently eyeing Zidane as a coach to replace Solskjaer later, Manchester United inconsistent performance is certainly the reason for the dismissal. Since the arrival of Ronaldo, the Manchester United squad has a leader who is able to motivate them to get up when they are losing and Ronaldo has shown his quality as a leader and also helps Manchester United to comeback in that match(Atlanta).

I agree with you in part on the coach (Ole) because he's not that bad , and if the management could give him a little more time,  spend on quality players to support Ronaldo rather than on a new coach, the old days could be back in no time. This is the part i wont agree with you on @Pettuh4. How is Ole now a good Manager? I think Ole is the luckiest clueless coach right now. Every time the team goes through a series of bad results, somehow Man Utd will win dramatically when we think it's the last straw, and everyone will forget about the terrible matches until it starts again.... its a never-ending cycle. He has all the caliber of players to grab a silverware. This current squad of man united players is better than Arsenal's squad that won two domestic cups under Arteta. Should we also talk about Leicester city ? What is stability without a any silverware? is that progress or dancing around the league? A team that wants to win something looks beyond just any coach and hire someone very sound tactically based on the type of league and competition involved.

MU played two completely different half's today. Outplayed by Atalanta completely in 1st and total dominance in 2nd. Ronaldo & co saves Solskjaer seat.
Benfica didn't deserved to lose 0:4. Bayern were better, but result don't fully reflect game, Benfica defended well until 1st goal.
Juve got difficult win against Zenit. Congrats for these who went with their win like me .
Young Boys - Villarreal. It was difficult to expect such big their win.
Very dull Barca performance, but win is win, that's most important thing. But it's good that Dynamo weren't able to offer anything in attack, otherwise it would be much more difficult.

A very contradictory result in terms of perception  After 0-2, I felt a kind of relief - it seems like the horrors should end as it becomes obvious to everyone that it is time to decide something with the head coach (to hire a new one). But United were able to recoup and now we will suffer again, waiting for the outcome of this situation.

Do you have the right set up to make them function effective. Do you how much is the whole Man united defense combined? Wan Bissaka was bought for 52m, Harry Maguire was 80m, now Rapheal  Varane was 43m. Do you even know what the team has and yet they are conceding goals in almost every game? You do not have to invest more on the defenders again.

In winter, there are few good players to buy or they have to pay really much to get them out of their contract. The most they can do is sign one or two supplementary players for the defense.
But I wonder if that will be enough to play a main role in the CL this year. ManU has had big problems in three consecutive games against second-tier teams at European level. They lost against Young Boys Bern, won against Villareal in the last minute by luck and yesterday against Bergamo they won by luck again. The real tests will come against teams like PSG, ManCity or Bayern.

A well deserved win for Man United, they struggle a lot in the 2nd half and managed to make a come back with 3 goals. Even though they win it but they need to evaluate the defense as it does not look good. Previously conceded by 4 goals against Leicester and today conceded by 2 goals easily in the first half against Atalanta. It should be improved as soon as possible.

Honestly I will not brag or take it seriously or score them anything till the end of season. They are already out of the FA cup and with the way they played yesterday, I don’t thing they might pass the knock out stage. They have only managed to keep one clean sheet this season, while the other serious Epl title contenders have kept more.  I look at the table and shake my head Imagine Brighton topping Manchester United on the table.. He should thank the players, Ronaldo inclusive, for saving his job for now. Because We know that Atalanta themselves are not too good defensively and that gave Manchester United the chances to score three goals. The main problem was their injuries and the defensive players are not clicking with each other. Yes, they got one of the best defenders this season - Varane, but he has barely played for them. Moreover, Maguire seems like he's making a lot of mistakes in the defense. United's attack is top-notch with Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford, and Bruno, the defense is where Ole will need to spend more time. Once the defense is fit and is on form, United will do very well this season. But also congrats to them for winning against Atalanta.
