I followed the performance of the last few matches where England could not show their performance positively in any aspect. In the first match of the World Cup, England faced New Zealand, where England team set a target of 282 runs for 9 wickets. Their score against Sri Lanka was poor as they ended their innings on just 156 runs. They also suffered similar defeats against India. In such a situation, everyone has an idea about the fragile condition of the England team. They only won one match against Bangladesh but lost all the rest. England's bowling and batting performance in this tournament is not up to expectations.

England have great opportunity to win yesterday's game but the missed the chance. Now England is eliminated from the world cup. Nobody thought that England will restrict team like India to 229 but its there batters that spoiled the whole game. A real captains knock from Rohit Sharma yesterday after India lost 3 quick wickets. India bowling has also been inspiring throughout this tournament.

They should have won the match against India. 230 was a chasable target even on a two-paced pitch. England's batting is not in the best of form and has cost them this World Cup. Not even a single batsman stood up to the expectations. On the other hand, India bowled beautifully from both ends. Muhammad Shami was exceptional with the bowl along with Bumrah. Spinners were also on target and troubled the batsman til the very last. A tournament to forget for England.

I would say very controlled bowling by Afghanistan bowlers. The pitch is batting friendly, the outfield is very fast. Even then Sri Lankan batsmen are unable to keep the run rate at 6. Their batting is very slow. Sri Lanka collected 66/1 in 15 overs. Despite losing just one wicket, their run rate is very low. On an average, Sri Lankan batsmen have managed to collect 4.3 runs per over. And the team will not be able to collect more than 300 runs if they collect runs like this. From what I saw in the pitch report, the average score of the first innings of this pitch is 300. And so giving a target of less than 300 will make it very difficult to beat Afghanistan. Because in the last match against Pakistan, the Afghanistan players batted well against the target of 283 runs.

Yeh it's true that they are more confidence after chasing 280 around against paksitan without any batting struggle or any kind of trouble, while if we have a look at paksitan previous match where south Africa really struggle to chase 270 so you can imagine how well they improved thier play after few bad setback. Currently sirilankan team were looking in bad situation because they lose five of thier wickets by scoring just 168 in 37 overs which mean they will maximum score 60 to 80 runs more in reaming overs so again Afghanistan will get same target as same as against paksitan where they chased it easily so in my mind if sirilankan bowling factory able to show some magic they possibly they will be in the game otherwise if zadran and gurbaz make atleast 100 runs partnership then things will become more worse for sirilanka.

Afghanistan can win if Hashmatullah Shahidi stays till the end of the match. The only batsman to hit a half-century from Afghanistan was Rahmat Shah who scored 62 runs. Dilshan Madushanka is a dangerous bowler for Afghanistan because Dilshan Madushanka bowled Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the very first over, and he also bowled Ibrahim Zadran, these two are very good players in Afghanistan.
They both can achieve a win for Afghanistan but they, unfortunately, lose their own wicket, this is not a piece of thing for Afghanistan. I think if Afghanistan loses so people just miss them because they both are always doing work for the victory of Afghanistan, but Afghanistan also has remaining good players so hope is still alive.

Its anyone game from here on in and Afghanistan team needs to bat out the 50 overs.

I will be happy if the final match between South Africa vs India is held. These two teams are in very good form. Especially their batting order is very strong. Therefore, if the final of these two teams is held, the match is likely to be more competitive.

India's bowling order is superior in this case which would give them an edge in such an encounter though it would still be competitive indeed.

I am still concerned about Australia (and not about the other two - South Africa and New Zealand). India has been in prime form till now, but they have a habit of losing crucial knockout matches. Australia on the other hand has a reputation of starting poorly, but finishing well in major tournaments. And yesterday's performance from India was not flawless. The top order failed completely, and once Rohit Sharma got out their batting simply collapsed. If not for lower order batsmen like Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, India would have struggled to reach 200.

Australia has definitely regained their confidence for sure, but they are over-dependent on Warner which is their weakness. If he gets out quickly, they struggle. Also, Hazlewood and Zampa are their only consistent bowlers which is another weakness.

Australia is strong, but they aren't as strong as before.

Afghanistan secured victory by a wide wicket margin. The bowling line of the Afghanistan team is very strong due to which the Sri Lanka team was bowled out for just 241 runs. But Sri Lanka set a target of 241 runs and the Afghanistan team easily managed to meet this target of 241 runs, as they stayed on the field till the end, protecting the wicket. Afghanistan player AzmatUllah was the best performer today as he scored 73 runs unbeaten. And collected a wicket in 7 overs. AzmatUllah played the most important role in giving the Afghanistan team the victory.

At this time when I am writing this post the Afghan team needs 11 runs on 39 balls and after completing this post they will win this match. They have proven themselves again, last time they beat Pakistan team, and this time they beat Sri Lanka, which both are strong. This show that they are improving, they are making every part of the team stronger, their fielding, their batsman, and bowlers are performing very well in this two matches. Gurbaz in this match did not perform and dropped his wicket on zero runs while the rest of the players made a good run. The three players without Gurbaz and the person doing bating is outstanding making the match comfortable and relax. In the bowlers, Faroqi got 4 wickets in this match just imagine. I think they won the match so congratulations to the Afghan team supporters.
