Yeah. Their batsmen performed pretty well against a strong Australian bowling lineup which surprised me. Their bowling unit continues to under-perform as usual which is primarily why Bangladesh lost so many matches.
On the other hand, Australian batsmen are on fire, but their bowling unit excluding Zampa are under-performing too frankly speaking.

Maharashtra stadium is completely batting friendly pitch. And the pitch was pretty good for scoring big today. Bangladesh has scored 306 runs in the first innings, which was a bit low in my opinion. Australia would have scored above 400 runs in that pitch if they batted first. Mitchell Marsh was too good with his batting today. Now Australia has 3 players among the top 5 highest scorers in this world cup.

well, Pakistan was on the edge of being out of the World Cup even before this game, and now it's official. Unfortunately, their run rate wasn't good enough, and that's the reason they're out of the tournament. anyway, Pakistan should keep their heads high. It wasn't a great tournament, but finishing in the 5th position isn't too bad. It's tough being out because of the net run rate, but overall, not a bad campaign.

Surprising fight from Bangladesh. They got to a total of 306/8 after batting first, which itself is a big achievement for them. But Australia looks quite solid in their innings. They are at 110/1, with David Warner and Mitchell Marsh at the crease. These two have added 98 runs so far for the second innings (Taskin Ahmed got Travis Head out when the total was just 12 runs). Anyway, this match is irrelevant, as the semi-final positions are already confirmed.

Australia won by 8 wickets against Bangladesh. A huge victory amazing performance by Australia. Batting performance of Australian is outstanding especially Mitchell match who score 177 run unbeaten and Steve Smith also scored 63 runs not out in just 64 balls. David warner also scored a fifity and helped Australia chase down 307 runs in loss of 2 wickets in 44.4 overs.

Bangladesh bowlers didn't perform well Taskin Ahmed and  Mustafizur Rahman only pick 1,1 wickets for Bangladesh. The player of the match is Mitchell Marsh for his amazing all round performance scored 177 runs unbeaten in just 132 balls and win single handedly match for Australia.

After watching the performance of Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith and David Warner, I guess Australia will be the favorites to win the semi-final match against South Africa. That said, the fact that they conceded a massive 306 runs to a team like Bangladesh needs some serious introspection. They experimented with Sean Abbott today, and he was quite expensive. Pat Cummins went for 7 runs per over without taking any wickets. Only Adam Zampa was impressive among the Australian bowlers. If South Africa bats first, then it is going to create some problem for the Aussies.

Bangladesh played a great innings today. Australia won the toss and decided to ball first. Bangladeshi has made 306 run in 50 overs. Towhid Hridoy played 75 runs great innings. Today's batting performance is satisfied of Bangladesh cricket. The improve their batting but they have to improve their fielding sector. Today we lost the match but the batting performance of Bangladesh cricket team is improve from previous. Satisfied maths from Bangladesh cricket team.

Yeh Bangladesh performance in this match were quite impressive because for a first time in this world cup they made a 300+ target which is a clear indication that they really improved thier batting Line up but the time is a bit late because they are already out of tournament and it's his last match to play. While this young guy Towhid Hridoy get early chance in middle order rather then lower tale under order which he properly utilize made a significant inning.
Australia took a good Start but after Warner and head dismissal marsh took charge and played firey innings where he scored 177 not out with a contribution of 9 sixes and some handsome amount of boundaries through which they able to chased required target before 50 overs.

Initially the run rate of the Pakistan team was decent, but due to the pressure on the wicket from the power play, Pakistan had to lose. Because the England team collected enough wickets and runs, but in no way could the Pakistan team put England under pressure from the bowling side. So today the Pakistan team came to the last stage and had to lose due to bad performance. Especially the opening pair of Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, and Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadap Khan could not collect any runs for the Pakistan team. If they could have stayed on the field for some time, there would have been a game against England. Due to this batting, Pakistan team is losing by a huge margin.

Another heavy defeat for Pakistan and that ends their campaign for the 2023 World Cup. England will be relieved now, as they are at the 7th position in the points table and therefore qualified for the 2025 Champions trophy. And it looks as if Sri Lanka and Netherlands would fail to qualify for the above mentioned tournament. That said, overall it was a forgettable tournament for England. They managed to win just 3 out of the 9 matches and ended up with a net run rate of -0.572. And still Sri Lanka and Bangladesh ended up below them.

England were too good today and they won this match quite easily by 93 runs. Though the England team performed well in their last two matches but it was too late for them to come back in the form as they already had lost the road to the semi finals, by losing their initial matches.

From Pakistan, we saw only one half century by Agha Salman. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan got into their 30s but could not convert it into big score. The openers already failed today. There was nothing extraordinary in the bowling department too , however, Haris Rauf took 3 wickets but all the bowlers gave away too many runs.

Earlier, Ben Stokes made 80 runs while David Willey took three wickets and was the man of the match. This was the last ODI match for David Willey and he ended his career with a win for his team but sadly England is also out of this World Cup.

England is a better side than Pakistan, however, in this World Cup they did not look like a team. Although England won today's match with Pakistan but overall they could not adjust to this 50 over cricket. They are a much better team when it comes to a T20 match or test match. However, in modern day ODI, there is ample time and you have to play an intelligent game which is not so fast as a T20 and not so slow as a test match. England failed to adjust their pace and there they lost all their matches in the beginning.

Also, it's high time that England let go of its older players like Ben Stokes from the 50 over game and give some new blood the chance to perform and develop England's team for the 2027 World Cup.

Pakistan really need to get rid of nepotism. Players like Imam and Shadab are in squad just because they have ties with people who have influence in PCB. Moreover this team is made on wishes of Babar Azam and not mush attention is paid on who deserve to be in team. Apart from win over New Zealand there is no noticeable performance from Pakistan team in this tournament. Players like Babar Azam and Rizwan should try to understand that scoring 50 runs on 60 balls wont be of any use to team.

When Pakistan could not stop England in terms of runs, maybe their morale strength was lost. However, it is not possible to make impossible gaps according to their needs. But if Pakistan could have won the match as the last match then maybe we could say at positively. But in the end that didn't happen either. A target of 339 runs should have given the Pakistan team a more professional match. Because they won the last match brilliantly. Anyway, let's talk about the last four now. New Zealand will face India again. However, the performance of the Indian team this time is different from any other session. No team in the last three has the ability to beat them. But there is a matter of luck so we have to wait for the results on the field of play.
