This is probably the worse game of Mikey Williams, looks like SMB really did a great job on defending him because he is still not in double-digit as of now. Well, the game is not over yet, let's see if he will explode in the last and final quarter.

Unusual to see Mikey Williams having that off-night performance. It looks like SMB really goes hard on him.

The scoring machine guy from TNT was able to stop by the SMB and successfully manage to limit his usual average.

SMB is now returning again to their fierce performance now especially that JMF is now doing his usual JMF thing like before.

Williams got 11 points only with 3-14 shooting.
I don't know if Williams only has a bad night or the TNT was just exposed with this one.

I guess he was exposed, but I don't think they will not make an adjustment, a great player will always make an adjustment to help his team.
TNT was also undermanned that game, they don't have Rosario who is a good rebounder and a threat inside, so it's really tough for them.

If this is only a bad night for Williams then he must step up and recover himself in their next game against the 2nd seeded Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel. Now there might be a chance that SMB exposed them because aside from Williams, no one can step up offensively and carry his team to victory. Either way, SMB is now at the top spot again and it looks like they are starting to get along with each other. JMF back in his MVP numbers and the acquisition of Cruz and Enciso really helped the team because we know how good these 2 are in three-point shooting.

Next game will be another challenge as Ginebra is better than SMB, but let's see if they can bounce back.

DYIP again playing with no competitiveness against Magnolia.

They are only in the 1st half but the Magnolia already had a 20+ points lead.
It's really disappointing to see a team like this, while the Blackwater keeps winning, they are doing the opposite side.

Blackwater is already 5-1, while DYIP is 0-7.

The last game is over, again DYIP loses by a Huge Margin. Magnolia beat them by 21 points, and bettors won here because Magnolia covered the spread. At some point, I think Magnolia was up more than 30 points, but DYIP was able to trim the lead a bit.

Blackwater made a good run this all-Filipino cup while DYIP as always, they keep allowing their opponents to overpower them, last game against Ginebra they manage to rally back and manage to close the game in the first half but after that, when Ginebra start their own rally in the second half, DYIP instead of trying just watch them pulling away.

Nothing to say about this team, unless they will find the right combinations or good trades,

remaining games of DYIP might end up the same.

They almost have the chance to beat NLEX but still failed to do so. It’s really not good to see on a professional league with this kind of standing, it looks like a practice game to other teams. DYIP should think better and have a good strategy especially on getting a good players, if they have no budget then most probably they will ended up on this kind of situation all over again.

I thought Columbian DYIP will be changed at this conference as they showed great competitiveness when the league rested for months and return in action.

The fans even think that most DYIP players will be traded to Big Team in the league since that's always the setup in the PBA where good players from lower teams will be signed to bigger teams. I don't know what happened to them and suddenly become a practice team for other teams lol.

They now take place the previous status of Blackwater Elite. They are now the team who is nowhere to be found becoming a good contender team.

They should make a way in the next season to improve their roster or even get a good coaching staff, this is a total disaster to be honest and not fun to watch. If by chance you got a ticket to watch the game, it's almost as if you just wasted it. Kind of harsh to say but that's the reality, it's not even worth it if this is the game they'll show everytime they play.

In the end, it's still the coach's performance that will be evaluated, and since the team is not winning games, that means his performance is not good so it's expected that he will be fired soon. It's bad news, hehe.. Sorry, but seems like coach Chot is not right to lead the Gilas if they want to achieve a good result, we need to try a new coach that could build a system we can develop in the long run, his coaching style I think is already obsolete.

By the way, ROS finally broke their losing streak, and NLEX now is on a losing streak.

Converge is the underdog against Northport in that game?

Maybe they are just based on the roster lineup but Converge has a better standing against Northport which is on 5 losing streak before that game (now 6 losing streak because Converge defeated them). NP becomes worst this conference.

I was about to ask where's Greg Slaughter not realizing he just signed recently to play in Japan B. League Division II for the team Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka.

Maybe I will agree with this chot reyes has already given and he is a coach of gillas pilipinas for quite time. But for now based on his performance handling gilas last conference then we should say that we need another coach, a coach that can make a way how to defend and also how to handle the game situation very well. By the way its a good win for rain or shine they got their 2nd victory and it's not over yet they can win if they will work harder.

That's a huge win if by chance a bettor bets with handicap and parlay both underdogs, though it's not usual, but there are gamblers who can handle that kind of risk. ROS start the game with great outside shooting percentage, they've got an early 2-digit leads and maintain the momentum not to allow NLEX to go near even NLEX did try some run in third quarter but ROS continue doing usual defense and offense.

In the 2nd game, Converge managed to escape NP thanks to their early leads, making it harder for NP to snatch the game after trying to rally back in the 2nd half.

Since it's already there and nothing will change now, then we need to treat it as a Good News lol.

Actually, what I think Coach Chot is lacking is not his style or strategy but the hard pressure and impact he brings to a player. His fierce now gone. When Coach Tab is handling the young cores of Gilas, there's a full respect that they need to follow Coach Tab at all cost and we all know what's the result of it.

No choice but to accept it even the majority are not favor for Coach Chot. Let's hope for the best on our Gilas squad.

Have you seen the SMB vs Blackwater game?

That game was really entertaining and Blackwater really prove that they are a championship team.
SMB needed an OT to beat the Blackwater because of Fajardo's 2 missed FT when only 3 seconds left in the game.
Overall, it's a good game by Blackwater, they are a threat I believe.
